Democrats Are Attempting to Fundamentally Transform America—Vote Accordingly

In recent months, Democrats and members of the media have launched an assault on individual liberty and the very foundation of America. From their attempts to paint the United States as an irredeemably racist country, to a lingering desire to create a government-run economy in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the left  has promulgated their opposition to America’s economic and political system at large.

The far left now has its hands on a significant portion of the Democratic Party. Illinois Senator and a serious contender for Joe Biden’s vice presidential slot, Tammy Duckworth, told CNN that Americans must consider removing statues of George Washington. Representative Ilhan Omar has called for defunding the police, claiming that police departments are “rotten to the root.” Does the typical Democratic voter think the same?

On the economic front, Nancy Pelosi has encouraged Senate Republicans to approve her latest socialist spending spree by voting on the HEROES Act. This legislation would encourage dependency on the federal government, by offering more money in unemployment benefits for millions of Americans than they would otherwise make working at their jobs. Why stop here?

Put simply, voters cannot allow the Democrats to assume power in November. Their clear distaste for law and order, America’s founding, and a free market economy is antithetical to the principles enshrined in the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.

America, though falling short of living up to its promise of liberty for all people at its inception, was the very first country to be “conceived in liberty,” in the words of Abraham Lincoln. Frederick Douglass, in his oft-cited Fourth of July address, called the Constitution a “glorious liberty document.”

It was not long ago that there seemed to be a consensus among our politicians that while America has its flaws, it remains the greatest country in the history of the world. At no time in recent history has one political party so openly broken with this declaration, and painted America as “systemically racist.” Again, does your average registered Democrat agree?

This attempt to revise history, and smear the United States as a nation which must be fundamentally transformed, has pervaded every part of American life.

As President Trump pointed out in his speech at Mount Rushmore on Independence Day, children in public schools are being taught to hate their country. Businesses especially as of late, have been forced to acquiesce to the demands of the mob; or face boycotts.

The tactics of the left are clearly contributing to increased political polarization, so why do so few in the media call it as it is? Those who believe America to be fundamentally flawed will never find common ground with those outside their bubble. The result is  perpetual disunity.

Tens of millions of patriotic Americans understand this simple truth: America, through all of its imperfections, is the greatest country in the world because it is founded on exceptional ideals. Chances are many registered Democrats also believe that their party and its media allies are foes of liberty and freedom.

Let’s strive to make good on the Constitution and American ideals, but not by abandoning them. In order to move forward towards liberty for all this November, Americans must vote accordingly.
