Planned Parenthood, Leader in Violence Against Humans, Defends Islamic Terrorism

The opinions expressed by columnists are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Townhall.com.

I’m used to Planned Parenthood saying and tweeting idiotic things. I’ve also come to expect that mainstream media will ignore the lunacy of this taxpayer-funded activist group. Before I get to the sheer stupidity of a billion-dollar abortion chain’s tweet, let’s take a look at what led to the outrageous statement.

An American-born Islamic terrorist, Omar Mir Seddique Mateen, slaughtered 49 precious human lives in a gay strip/dance/drag club in Orlando, Florida. My heart goes out to the families of those killed and to those left behind trying to make sense of such a vile act.

The President blamed the horrific violence on “hate”. Exactly which terrorist acts could ever be blamed on love? Barack Obama, in his official statement on the massacre, never mentioned the word Islam. Like Democrat presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, Obama wants to pretend that this was just about being gay.

Islamic terrorism doesn’t give a rat’s behind about who they kill—Christian, Jewish, Agnostic, Pantheistic, gay, straight, white, black, brown, or any color in between. These barbarians will kill fellow Muslims to advance their brand of evil.

Of course, the Left doesn’t like changing its narrative that Western Christianity is the real oppressor of the LGBT community in this country. With all of the Christian churches in the Orlando area, funny we’ve not had one single mass shooting in the name of Christ. Maybe because Christianity doesn’t teach killing those with whom we disagree. Leftist news outlets, in desperate attempts to create a dichotomy between “moderate” Muslims and the murderous thugs who pledge allegiance to ISIS trot out PR remarks from the prominent mosque in the Orlando area—the Husseini Islamic Center. On its webpage, the center declares: “Members of Husseini Islamic Center (HIC), stand united with our fellow Americans in categorically condemning this attack. We share the grief and sorrow of the nation and stand united with the Central Florida community and City of Orlando. Our heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to the families and loved ones who are victims of this tragedy.”

Just months earlier, however, this same mosque featured keynote speaker Sheikh Farrokh Sekaleshfar who called for the killing of homosexuals as “the compassionate thing to do”. Referring to homosexuals in a 2013 speech, Sekaleshfar said: “Death is the sentence…Let’s get rid of them.” Somehow, now, this center is seen as the voice of reason among the Orlando Muslim community?

Never one for reason in this War on Terrorism, Obama has passionately maintained his denial of Islamic terrorism throughout his presidency. He prefers the phrase “violent extremists”. He has promoted the radical LGBT agenda (fining and threatening the very livelihood of those who believe marriage is between a man and a woman) like no other president in history. What, exactly, explains the fervor in which he so desperately avoids the truth and so quickly accuses Americans of being homophobic and Islamophobic?

I don’t fear homosexuality. Biblical Christianity compels me to love, speak truth, and act with an abundance of compassion. For many scientific, moral, legal, statistical and personal reasons I don’t think homosexuality, bisexuality or try-any-sexuality is healthy for individuals or society. I also don’t think people should smoke. It doesn’t translate into oppression—or worse—wanting death for anyone. That’s the pathetic reasoning of liberal elites, academics, actors, pop stars, and even some Bible-evading evangelical and Catholic leaders.

Love elevates people. Hate eliminates them.

It wasn’t fear that drove Mateen to murder 49 and wound more than 50 more in Orlando. It was a faith rooted in such hatred of humankind—any human—that compelled such a massacre. But liberals want to ignore the patterns, the repeated attacks around the world, and blame it on anything other than the obvious. According to one report, in the last year and half, 1500 Christians have been slaughtered by Islamic terrorists around the globe. These are only the ones reported. The infamous decapitations of Christian men by ISIS received sparse coverage by American media. I’m tired of these activist opportunists pretending that a particular group is targeted by a non-existent fear. Those of us who don’t pledge allegiance to the Islamic State are all targets of this cowardly evil.

Never allowing a tragedy to go unexploited, Planned Parenthood tweeted the most asinine statement I think I’ve ever read regarding Islamic terrorism: “#Islam doesn’t foment the violence alleged gunman Omar Mateen enacted, toxic masculinity & a global culture of imperialist homophobia does”. So, just for clarity, this heinous crime had nothing to do with the history of violence of jihadists? It had nothing to do with the total disregard of human life and the thousands of casualties it causes yearly? It had nothing to do with a religion perpetually at war with itself and the rest of the world? Nope. This terrorist was merely overly masculine? What warped sense of masculinity does (the ever-violent) Planned Parenthood think kills defenseless human beings? You know who the masculine ones were? The policemen who went after the Islamic terrorist, like the officer who risked his life and was shot in the head (saved by a Kevlar helmet, thank God). Planned Parenthood’s business of abortion violence depends on men rejecting the most significant attribute of masculinity which is to protect. They know communities without fathers, a vital masculine role, are far more vulnerable to abortion predators.

Why are our tax dollars funding an abortion business that kills for a living and defends the most violent form of terrorism known to our world today? We have enough to deal with, as a nation, in stemming the spread of ISIS propaganda. Taxpayers don’t need to be subsidizing Planned Parenthood to offer free PR for the Islamic State.
