There were rumblings that this would happen over the weekend: Trump would federalize DC, deploy federal troops, and restore order. The brutal beating of the DOGE staffer ‘Big Balls’ drew an intense reaction from the president. The staffer stopped a woman from being carjacked by a group of ten youths who savagely beat him afterward. Then, a shooting in the Navy Yard led to reports of 100-plus youths fleeing the scene. These roving bands of miscreants, the pervasive hobo encampments—something had to be done. And the Democrats’ reaction to this operation exposes that this party is truly out of ideas.
They cited January 6, folks. And it wasn’t just top Democrats; it was members of the media. They used that little riot to take a swipe at Trump, calling it the most violent day in recent DC history. Fourteen people were murdered in DC this past week alone. No one cares about January 6, you sheltered clowns. That’s why Trump is president again.
The Democrats went overboard on the democracy is under attack line because they thought it would work. It didn’t, and now they’re doing these retread narratives that have never worked, but it does fill airtime on CNN and MSNBC. The initial counterpoint was that DC is an oasis of calm and peace. What crime? If there was any, it was going down, except that was a lie. NBC Washington leveled that talking point with a drone strike, reporting in July that the DC police were cooking the books on the crime statistics. There’s also a plethora of eyewitness accounts of how the DC had become the Wild West, saddled with a police department that couldn’t enforce the law and local leaders who wouldn’t push for public safety initiatives.
Police and jails are part of the woke Left’s intersectionality nonsense. They’re racist systems or something, so everything possible must be done to ensure criminality can be left unchecked, undeterred, and pervasive. That’s why Trump is taking over DC. For too long, it’s been a hellhole. Now, the police are federalized, and the National Guard will be deployed.
The people want this, the Democrats don’t. It’s astounding that such an easy political win got disregarded out of fear of offending liberals. Black Democrats want this, as we’ve seen consistently nationwide; they were dead-set against defunding the police in Minneapolis. But non-white Democrats don’t run things: It’s the woke, the wealthy, and the overwhelmingly white and female. It’s a bloc of voters who get offended on behalf of other people and think the country hasn’t moved a day past 1877. Their agenda takes everything to eleven, which is exactly why the party brand is in such a horrendous state of disrepair—not that I’m complaining.
But if your two big swings against Trump’s takeover are half-baked crime stats that were exposed as fake and January 6, you’re out of ideas. You cannot fight. And you’re flat-out unserious people. Democrats have no brains, no leaders, no agenda, and no messaging—that’s why they cannot be trusted with power again.
For now, cope and seethe (again). Let Trump and the GOP clean up your mess again. That’s why he’s back in the White House.
