Let me clear the air: I’m not complaining about the dysfunction on the other side of the aisle. I want Democrats to remain incapable of reaching normal voters. Still, it’s a humorous observation since they remain stuck in this habit despite this being one of the primary reasons why Democrats got rolled by Donald Trump and the Republicans this year.

Of all people, it was former MSNBC host Chris Matthews who torched Democrats for not knowing how people think—adding that he had no clue who the national party was playing to on inflation, government spending, and especially on the border. Illegal immigration and the issues named above were understood well by voters, especially women. It’s the ladies who often are the CFOs of America’s households. They balanced the checkbooks, and they saw the price hikes. The Democrats reaction to working families was simple: “stop being poor.” Even more condescending was the “look at this chart—you’re fine” pivot that the Biden White House employed months before the 2024 election got underway. Voters never forgave Democrats for this indifferent attitude.

The party is engulfed by the “woke,” wealthy whites who control the agenda and messaging, think the working class is vermin, and those with non-college degrees are the embodiment of sloth. That derision has led to writing off most of the American electorate, most of whom don’t have college educations. The working class used to be the backbone of the Democratic Party—they’re now Republicans. And it’s now become a multiracial event. Trump transformed the GOP into our version of what Obama did for Democrats.

In Arizona, a meeting of state Democratic Party chairs devolved into chaos as no one could admit that going “woke” led to the left becoming politically broke. This has led to an ethos that makes most voters want to punch Democrats in the face. It’s exclusionary, small-tent, and overall weird; Democrats have a penchant for adopting socially aberrant positions on almost everything.

The latest murder of a healthcare CEO in New York City is another example of the Democrats being too online and detached. No one typically celebrates a brutal murder. The only examples are, again, the leftists who are too online and unable to step outside the bubble. It’s taken an “eat the rich” attitude, which recently got snuffed out since the alleged killer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson likely had a net worth that was greater than his victim’s. The alleged shooter, Luigi Mangione, is from Baltimore royalty, whose family has had many philanthropic exploits within the healthcare system. He’s also Ivy-League educated and attended a $40,000/year private school. The late Mr. Thompson was an Iowa native from a working-class background who worked to the top.

And the left is cheering for Mangione. If they don’t change course, get used to saying President-elect J.D. Vance in 2029.
