The Left, (i.e., the Democratic Party) is utterly destroying the United States. And nowhere is that more evident than in immigration policy and our failed education system. Joe Biden has horribly divided the nation on immigration, and he did it totally, 100% for the political gain of the Democratic Party. The words to describe how selfish, short-sighted, destructive, and evil Biden has been towards America probably do not exist in any human language. But then, that sums up the entire Democratic Party right now.
Biden has taken two venerable traditions in American history—immigration and education—and turned them into dirty words. First, let me discuss immigration.
A recent poll showed that 60% of Americans say the country does not need any more H-1B visa workers. Whether that is so or not, this poll indicates the feelings Biden has created in America about immigration.
No true American patriot could ever be opposed to legal immigration. Ultimately, the whole country was built by immigrants. Even the American Indians—the “first Americans”—emigrated from Asia thousands of years ago. Every single American citizen in the country today descended from immigrants, and it would be the height of hypocrisy to resist further immigration. Proper immigration policy has been a vital cornerstone in American history.
Yet, no true American patriot could ever condone illegal immigration. That is against the very founding principles of the country—a nation of laws, not men—and opens the door to anarchy and chaos, not to mention gross injustice against current American citizens. If one person can break the law, then why can’t everybody else do the same? Illegal immigration is wrong, and every country in the world has laws against it. America actually does, too, but it is a measure of Biden’s endless criminality and base immorality that he, and the executive branch of his government, whose main function is to enforce the laws, has so consistently and miserably refused to do so.

Can we find a sane immigration policy? American patriots should not be opposed to legal immigration. But that doesn’t mean we throw our brains out the window and let anybody and everybody in, that we open the doors indiscriminately and allow the whole world to enter. American citizens, of whatever race, color, or creed, come first, and should be given the highest priority in the country. Immigrants have always been welcome, if they can contribute to the well-being of the whole, and if they don’t take resources away from American citizens. Any country that puts the world ahead of itself is not doing justice to its own people.
I insist that every illegal alien in America should be sent home (and I wish they’d take a Democrat under each arm with them). They are breaking our laws. I welcome them to try to come legally, but they should not be allowed to stay illegally. Aliens who are legally in the country should certainly be permitted to remain, as long as they are not parasiting off the American people. But it has gone through my mind that maybe before we allow any more “legal” aliens into America, we should stop, take a breath, clean out the mess, see what we’ve got, and then determine what we need. If we require jobs filled that can only be supplied by immigrants, by all means let them in. But America simply cannot allow everybody on earth into the country, even legally. We don’t have room for them, or the jobs for them to fill.
Controlled, rational, legal immigration that benefits the country—absolutely. Illegal immigration—for ANY reason—absolutely not. These should be given and guide any prudent immigration policy.
But now we face the H-1B visa immigration issue. Vivek Ramaswamy’s argument that too many American workers are “mediocre” may actually be true, but his conclusion that we should therefore import more H-1B visa laborers because of “worker mediocrity” is offensive and utterly off-putting, at least to me. The answer is not to import “excellence” at the expense of “mediocre” Americans, but to lift the education system to a plane where it creates excellent American workers.
America does not need the H-1B immigration visa program. In fact, I think it is an insult to the nation. It implies that America can’t produce the quality and excellence necessary to fill the jobs that must be filled, so we have to import foreign workers to do it. But, the catch is, in order to produce the quality needed, America must restore the education system that was once the envy of the world, but is now the toilet bowl home and sewer of “social justice,” left-wing, America-hating Marxists. And as long as it remains such, then, well, yeah, I guess we WILL need foreign workers, because uneducated “gender studies” airheads will never have the qualifications necessary to do the high-quality jobs where skilled workers are required. Unfortunately, incompetent Americans are exactly what greedy corporate capitalists want so they can hire and pay lower wages to the foreigners.
If we want to “Make America Great Again,” the answer is not to import non-Americans to do jobs Americans ought to be doing themselves. The answer is to restore the education system to one of highest quality, morality, and skill so that we can create the virtuous leaders—government and business—that will indeed lift America to greatness again.
I welcome people from other countries to come to America, IF they will do so legally, IF they are willing to respect America and her laws and people, and IF they will support themselves and contribute to the well-being of the nation. Letting people in because they benefit one political party over another, or so that greedy capitalists can line their pockets, is despicable, revolting, and ultimately destructive. America, and Americans, must be the priority. Then, let’s see what we need and welcome others to come join us.
