I know that the main reason communist countries do not hold elections is because those in power realize they would be voted out of power by the people who don’t like to be starved, tortured, oppressed, shot, or have their guts cut out of their insides. Communists love power and, as long as they can control the military, they can keep it. Elections are for “useful idiots.”
And there is actually some truth to the final sentence in the above paragraph—at least in the eyes of communists. And, as much as I hate to agree with them about anything...
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson recently blamed “right-wing extremists” for his city’s problems. “They’re still mad that a black man is free in this country.” Unbelievable. Well, no, it’s not. Besides the fact that there probably aren’t ten “right-wing extremists” in the entire city of Chicago, it’s hard to think of words, in any human language, to describe the utter buffoonery of what Johnson said. I’m not even going to try; I don’t want to tax my brain thinking of proper epithets. I don’t have to, you can see it for yourself.
I have made my opposition to Leftist dogma, like Marxism and communism, extremely plain in my articles. That horrible system is repulsive to any decent, honorable human being, i.e., those who aren’t members of the Democratic Party in America. But, frankly, (like our Founding Fathers), I’m also not a great fan of democracy. Brandon Johnson is one of the reasons why (Joe Biden and every other elected Democrats are further reasons). As our Founders reiterated over and over and over again, to have a good government—especially a democracy—a country must have a well-educated, virtuous, self-controlled, honorable, responsible people. Do any of those words describe the majority of Americans today? And since democracy is rule by the majority, cities like Chicago get mayors like Brandon Johnson. And our country gets Presidents like Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden. Even Hillary Clinton received more votes than Donald Trump (thank God for our Founding Fathers and the Electoral College system they established).

“The government you elect is the government you deserve”—Thomas Jefferson.
Chicago deserves Brandon Johnson because they elected him. The citizens of Chicago have exactly the kind of city they asked for, and they have absolutely no one to blame but themselves. “Right-wing extremists” are not the problem in Chicago. If it weren’t so serious, that would be hilariously, uproaringly funny. If Brandon Johnson really believes that, really believes that it is the “right-wing” in America who doesn’t want a “black man” to be “free in this country”...well, then, Chicago is getting what it warrants. The sad thing is, so many people are losing their lives in Chicago, not because of “right-wing extremists” who don’t want “black men” to be “free” in America, but because of Brandon Johnson and the Democratic Party, the party of slavery, Jim Crow, and the current border invasion and welfare serfdom. But if Johnson admitted that, it would, of course, require accepting responsibility for his actions, taking true leadership over the people he is supposed to be governing, and then, doing something about it. But Johnson—and no Democrat, and few Republicans—are going to do that. It’s just easier to blame the non-existent bogeyman.
But, “the government you elect is the government you deserve.” I keep telling you people that the guys who founded our country knew exactly what they were talking about. And here is another perfect example.
Very few politicians have the kind of character necessary to properly handle power. Especially if they are elected by a largely uneducated, or ill-educated, populous. “Individuals have conquered themselves. Nations and large bodies of men, never” (John Adams). When a nation gives mediocrity—or worse—the vote, it cannot be surprised when mediocrity—or worse—is elected. Give the vote to the ill- or non-educated, and stupidity like Brandon Johnson and Joe Biden is put in power. This is what has happened in America. The Left has destroyed our education system, and with it, any hope of having a truly, virtuous citizenship who elects the right kind of people. Anybody who knows the first thing about history is not the least bit surprised that Brandon Johnson is the mayor of Chicago. And Joe Biden is the President of the United States. And that both that city and that country are in extreme peril right now because of it. Johnson’s quote at the beginning of this column makes it abundantly clear why.
Three quotes from James Madison. No. 1: “If a man is not fit to govern himself, how can he be fit to govern someone else?” It is abundantly evident that Brandon Johnson has absolutely no self-control, and putting him in charge of Chicago is one of the most heinous mistakes that city has ever made. No. 2: “Democracy [is] the right of the people to choose their own tyrant.” That is exactly what Chicago did, and what the Democratic Party wants to do for the entire country. Then, they will destroy any remnants of “democracy” that might remain. No. 3: “The truth is that all men having power ought to be mistrusted.” If history teaches anything, it teaches one thing very clearly, i.e., government is good at one thing, and one thing only: killing people. That is true all through history, and certainly in the last 100 years. And the American government is allowing it to happen with the country’s unborn babies.
“The government you elect is the government you deserve.” Do you hear that, Chicago? Are you listening, America?
I suspect the answer to both of those questions is a loud, resounding, “NO!”
