Now, if I were governor of Califorina, I don't think it would be a good look to say, "It's time for a vacation! Too bad our state doesn't have any place to go. So I'm going to go not just to an island somewhere else, but another country!" – especially when I'm trying to boost state tourism. Newsom is destroying his state and, of course, he thinks he's going to be president. And I think that's what's really at play here.
