The final arguments from the Kenosha, Wisconsin, prosecutors in the Kyle Rittenhouse murder trial perfectly sum up the current state of affairs in the American political and cultural zeitgeist. The sentiments of Thomas Binger have been repeated and amplified on cable news panel shows and through blue-checkmark social media platforms of university professors and late-night talk show hosts.

It's the message the American left wants you to hear... in fact, it's the only tangible and logical takeaway from their rhetorical diatribes that have been blasted at us non-stop for the past several days. It's Binger's case to prosecute Rittenhouse, but it's also their message to every American who objects to the current state of affairs in American cities and American courtrooms.

The message?

Left-wing violence, arson, and looting are to be accepted, rewarded, and celebrated, and any push-back or resistance to this violence will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Take your beatings, peon, and shut your mouth about it.

"Everybody takes a beating sometimes," co-prosecutor James Kraus told us when explaining that Rittenhouse should have just laid down and taken it rather than defend himself. "Sometimes you get in a scuffle and you do get hurt a little bit."

"That crowd was full of heroes," we were told this week in reference to the rampaging mobs burning buildings, looting stores, vandalizing cars, and causing general mayhem that night.

"You lose the right to self-defense when you're the one who brought the gun," Binger lied when redefining hundreds of years of accepted self-defense law in the Western world.

And immediately across broadcast networks and MSNBC/CNN's "news" programs, that sentiment was validated and celebrated 24/7. The people who took to the streets to burn Kenosha were righteous and justified and anyone who dared to stand in their way deserved the pummeling they got.

What other message are we supposed to take from this contemptible argument?

Whether Rittenhouse is convicted or acquitted, the long-term societal impact will be felt if the left has their way.

Let's face it, who wants to be the next Rittenhouse? Who wants to protect their neighborhood that has been abandoned and left defenseless by corrupt local government officials who told police officers to stand down and let the angry mob blow off steam?

Who wants to stand up for their community, their business or their neighborhoods and run the risk of having their life destroyed by the government of the community they're trying to protect in the first place?

Who wants to stick their necks out and stand in the way of the angry mob only to be demonized and mocked by the state prosecutors whose salaries they pay?

Binger and Kraus and Maddow and Reid and Lemon and Cuomo are talking to the same audience on this issue. They aren't communicating to the jury nearly as much as they are talking to you.

This isn't your country or state or county or town or neighborhood anymore. The streets belong to the organized left, and if you dare stand up for law and order, you'll be roadkill, or you'll be thrown away for life.

If you find yourself in their way, you better take the beating... "get hurt a little bit" rather than defend yourself and protect your street. Your job is to stay out of their way or roll over and feel the pain. But God forbid you stand for life, liberty, and the rule of law.

If you do, you're the criminal. You're the thug. You're the accused. You're the convicted.

Rittenhouse should be acquitted. If this jury has courage, they will see to it. But, make no mistake, they heard the message as well. They're part of this story too. They're standing in the street right now, and they're protecting law and order from the angry mob.

Do you think they'll ignore the "take your beating" message and do what's right?

Would you?
