Welcome back to another "Stream of Kurtiousness!" I've been up since 3 am this morning to cover for Joe Piscapo's radio show this morning. Joe's an awesome guy and has excellent taste for guest hosts! The text of the Iran deal is out, and it's not exactly what I would have signed. If it were up to me, I would kill them all, but I'm trying to understand what President Trump is thinking. I'll have a column coming out about the deal soon, but what I would stress to everyone is not to panic. There needs to be a plan for reality, and a plan to make the best out of it.
I'm enjoying seeing European soccer fans having a great time in America. When foreigners learn about the US, it's usually through correspondents in Washington, D.C., who have a completely skewed view of the rest of the country. Now that foreigners are visiting parts of the US they've barely ever heard of, the reality of their experience is completely different from what they were told it would be. Because of these reactions, I'm willing to tolerate soccer, even for just a little bit!
