Fresh off the only policy issue she has highlighted in any actual substantive way, she wandered off the podium and worked a rope line that was on the floor of the tiny high school gym where she had just finished her speech.
As the news cameras pulled back in order to keep her in the frame you could easily see that the 150 or so people that had been on the stage behind her were the overwhelming majority of the crowd gathered.
The room was so small that in a normal rally you were tempted to think that she was working a rope line consisting of media. But she wasn’t. There were another handful of supporters in front of the camera scrum. Usually a rally has a big enough audience that it pushes the media section to the far back of the room. Not here however in Raleigh, NC. Even though the Harris campaign had advertised for days for actors to come fill a room for a stipend in Craig’s list, she was stuck with the maybe 250 people that showed up.
That was just the optics. (She’s so unpopular she can’t pay people to show up.)
Then came the seething criticism from economists, former Obama economic advisors, and the Washington Post. You know… all those right wing outlets.
By the end of this last week at 26 days plus, Kamala Harris after only one policy speech was more of a wreck than she had been before becoming the “nominee.”
Her only policy plan was to attack “Big Grocery.” Whatever that is. Grocers will readily tell you their margin on profit is between 1-2% on average and since Covid a .5% margin is not unheard of.
But because her border policy has caused neighborhood grocers to regularly be robbed in the last three years, because her defund the police mindset towards crime since the George Floyd riots, because her administration’s all out war on energy needed to transport, supply, and refrigerate their inventory—she was going to blame “Big Grocery” as the bad guy.

And instead of addressing the real issues her plan—if God forbid she is elected—is to institute price controls that will bankrupt the grocery sector as a whole.
She’s began running for President in 2019 and from then until now this is the policy she has to show for herself? A policy that will make everything even less affordable for the non-existent voters in the room she gave the speech for.
Now just imagine what this coming week in Chicago will hold. Islamic fascists chanting “death to Israel and death to America” outside their barbed wire electric fenced barrier. And inside a swath of disdainful AOCs and Ilhan Omars hysterically accusing President Trump of being a “felon” and a “threat” to democracy—while VP Harris (who has received zero votes in two runs for President to date) endlessly rehearses and attempts to keep herself from not bursting out into cackles when she nervously feels the moment slipping away.
There will be zero serious substance of the border, crime, inflation, cost of living, or parent’s rights to keep boys out of their daughters’ locker rooms and showers.
In fact look for Harris or others to use the Title IX loss in court on Friday to be the foundation for she or others to claim the need to pack the court.
And don’t forget about abortion. Even though the nation gets to decide state by state what they wish the policy to be — her promise is to re-federalize Roe vs. Wade. She and her running mate even want the right to make it legal for the life of the child to be taken—unborn AND born—damn the Constitution.
As you see the Chicago circus play out think back to the RNC’s gathering earlier this summer. The real solutions put forward for the biggest problems we as a nation are facing. Remember the pleas of the families of American hostages being held by Hamas. Remember the injury of Harris’ administration in the exit from Afghanistan. Remember the Harris administration’s war on energy and by extension the tax-payer. Remember the dishonor shown to our fallen service members, and the victims of crime that her policies created.
The all-too-thin veneer is coming off.
Harris is a nasty, mean, horrible human being. And I don’t say that as pejorative—just fact. (Ask the people who don’t even last a week working for her.) But she’s also not that bright. Most bricks have more usefulness. She’s never run as much as a lemonade stand. She jailed innocent people as a prosecutor, and she has been an utter embarrassment on the national stage. (“Being the person, dressed in blue, sitting at the end of the table.”)
Her convention should be as entertaining as a “mostly peaceful” protestor burning down buildings in her running mate’s state—for whom she raised the money to get out of jail free—so they could go burn some more.
She refuses to acknowledge what she will do (via interviews or policies on her campaign site) “unburdened by where she’s been” (a long history of nothing.)
She actually is so bad at it all that her own speech created millions of views on memes and highlight clips of her actual speech. The laundry list of things that have gone up in price on her watch, caused by her own policies. And there she is laying it all out for voters while we’re sitting here pondering, “so why didn’t you stop it?”
Her instincts are bad. She nervous laughs. She does so louder when she realizes no one is laughing with her.
There is no mental or intellectual agility with her. No quickness of mind. No authenticity and all of it in the worst way.
She says what she thinks people want to hear—hoping to win favor in the moment. (In 2015 she wanted to ban consumption of red meat, and in her speech this week “ground beef is up 50%” was one of her talking points.)
She’s insincere. She inspires nobody. And we parents don’t want our daughters to be anything like her—a woman who can’t define what a woman is.
God forbid this woman is ever given the actual reigns of anything that matters.
If she is, it’s a sign of the apocalypse.
An apocalypse that can only be avoided by beating her soundly on November 5th. Vote early, vote often, drive your neighbors, drive your kids.
America has one job to do is she wishes to survive, and that is to route this global disaster before it ever has a chance to start.
God help us all!
