As the world moves away from Trump hysteria and into a new Golden Age of America, former FBI Director James Comey is feeling left out.

During a long walk on the beach this week, Comey claims he "found" a display of sea shells spelling out "86 47."

"Cool shell formation on my beach watch," the attention-craving, narcissist wrote on his Instagram page.

Given that "86" means to "take away" or "murder," combined with Comey's corrupt, shameful and dangerous FBI weaponization against Donald Trump – now the 47th president – the cry for attention immediately backfired.

"We vigorously investigate anything that can be taken as a potential threat against our protectees. We are aware of the social media posts by the former FBI Director & we take rhetoric like this very seriously. Beyond that, we do not comment on protective intelligence matters," the Secret Service released in a statement about the message and photo.

"We are aware of the recent social media post by former FBI Director James Comey, directed at President Trump. We are in communication with the Secret Service and Director Curran. Primary jurisdiction is with SS on these matters and we, the FBI, will provide all necessary support," FBI Director Kash Patel added.

"James Comey just issued a call to action to murder the President of the United States. As a former FBI Director and someone who spent most of his career prosecuting mobsters and gangsters, he knew exactly what he was doing and must be held accountable under the full force of the law," Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard piled on. "We fully support the Secret Service investigation into Comey's threat on President Trump's life."

As the saying goes, Comey "effed around" and is about to find out — which prompted Comey to delete the photo and issue an explanation.

"I posted earlier a picture of some shells I saw today on a beach walk, which I assume were a political message. I didn't realize some folks associate those numbers with violence. It never occurred to me but I oppose violence of any kind so I took the post down," Comey said, while also shutting off all comments on the post.

Adding insult to injury, Comey expects Americans to believe this nonsense and that he randomly stumbled upon the shells on the beach and didn’t at all put them into the "86 47" formation himself.

But by acknowledging a political significance, the former leader of America’s top law enforcement agency half admitted to the message while laughably claiming he "didn’t realize" "86" is a reference to violence.

This, of course, is a lie. The FBI puts out reports and dedicates an enormous amount of resources to studying violence. Of course, Comey knows what "86" means, he's just trying to avoid going to federal prison.

With two assassination attempts on Trump and threats rolling in daily, Comey's behavior should be seriously investigated. If he lies to FBI agents in the process, he should be prosecuted for it.
