It Is Not Racist to Notice Things, It’s Actually Racist to Pretend You Don’t

As a charge, “racism” is completely irrelevant in 2026. “Wolf” has been cried so many times that even if it were a wolf crying it, no one would believe it or care. I should say “almost no one.” Democrats would still try to make something out of it, and Al Sharpton and Ben Crump would come to perform a little b******t two-step for the cameras and the checks. But otherwise, no one would care because, well, it is not racist to notice things.

Don’t get me wrong, racism still exists, but the most glaring way in which it exists is in the hearts and minds of leftists. It is no longer racist to judge someone by the color of their skin and treat them differently because of it; that’s half the platform of the Democrats (both the regular old kind and the Socialists of America type).

When normal people notice things the left tries to hide, that’s what is called racism now. Have you seen any videos of the so-called “teen takeovers” in major Democrat-controlled cities across the country? Notice anything beyond the approximate ages of the participants? I bet you have.

Have you watched any news stories about crime where the only identifying characteristics of suspects still at large are gender, age and height ranges? Weird how everyone involved becomes a biology expert, after being confused about what a woman is, then gets very vague about anything that might help the public assist in the apprehension of the perpetrators?

“Be on the lookout for a male wearing brown pants and a dark hoodie, somewhere between 15 and 40 and 5’8” to 6’2” is so worthless you might as well put on an APB for someone actively confessing to the crime at the time you see them. The left acts like people never change clothes, but can change other things that are unchangeable.

Meanwhile, we have politicians like pretty much every Democratic Socialist of America leftists and every personality on MS Now pretending the real crime in the country is either the existence of our republic or just white people.

Florida Democrat Angie Nixon, their nominee for the U.S. Senate, told a podcast host recently, “So, my short-term goal is going to the Senate to help kinda right the ship, uh, to be a stop-gap to really stop Donald Trump, cuz again, I think he's not tryin' to leave, and we need to send people there who are bold, unapologetic fighters because quiet status quo timid leadership is not going to help us in this moment when these people are actively trying to kill us, right?”

She’s black, and the “us” in her statement is other black people; the “people” is white people, especially Republicans. When asked if she would “work across the aisle, she said, “They’re not trying to work across the aisle. They’re literally trying to kill us.”

I grew up in Detroit, then moved to Baltimore and worked in Washington, D.C., since graduating college in 2000. Never once, in any of those places, did I hear of roving bands of white people trolling the streets murdering black people. Unless they disguised themselves as drug-dealing gang members who don’t value human life, it wasn’t white people. And in each place I lived, I was the only Republican in the zip code; I didn’t do it, didn’t have any interest in doing it, and couldn’t have gathered a second conservative from the area if I had tried.

No, the real scourge of the black community in this country is Democrats. It doesn’t matter what color those Democrats are; they’ve all supervised the destruction of the black family through manipulative social policies and the increase in generational government dependence for their own political gain. A lot of white liberals were involved in that, as were black liberals, but no Republicans were.

It's not racist to notice that a disastrous education system is designed to suck the hope and aspiration out of kids while feeding teachers' union coffers to give to Democrats. It’s not racist to notice that policies that discourage families, remove men from the homes and lives of children, and abort half the babies conceived have had negative consequences.

It is, however, racist to cover that up, allow the lies to metastasize throughout the culture, celebrate it, and dance on the graves of kids who never stood a chance because “the system was stacked against them. It is racist to have those kids eulogized and exploited by the architects of the very “system” they claim is racist.

Yes, the crowds at “teen takeovers” and “flash mob robberies” are largely not white, not Asian or Hispanic either. It’s not racist to notice that. It is racist to hide it; it is racist to pretend it’s not; it is racist to pretend there’s nothing that can be done to stop it or could have been done to prevent it in the first place.

Sure, we can’t go back in time and prevent Democrats from their racism – from the party of slavery to the party of Jim Crow; from segregation to, well, segregation (only this time in the name of diversity, somehow) – Democrats have never changed their objectives; they’ve only changed their tactics. If you wanted to eliminate as many black people as possible, you would do what the Democrats have done since the Emancipation Proclamation.

It doesn’t have to be this way, but it would require people to tell the truth, and the truth is Kryptonite to Democrats – the truth does them no favors, so they don’t bother with it.

Too many Republicans, on the other hand, are sadly too timid to talk about it. But we do need to talk about it if we’re ever going to fix it.

Democrats whine about the “school-to-prison pipeline” in their calls to abolish prisons. You know why? Because they’d otherwise have to talk about the schools in an honest way and demand their union bosses fix those to prevent so many kids from seeing no future and ending up in prison in the first place. If your water is dirty, you don’t change your toilets and sinks – you’re going to need them – you go to the source that feeds you the dirty water and clean it up.

If these Democrats cared at all about kids of any color, they’d start by demanding more from the schools. Not more money – there is no magic amount of money you can pay a bad teacher to suddenly become good or to make a good teacher be able to teach against failed, radical curriculum – they need standards. Unions hate them, so Democrats oppose them.

On crime, Democrats prefer the perps over the victims. On life, Democrats are funded by the abortion industrial complex. On race, Democrats see endless advantages in division, as it is the foundation of all their other destructive traits.

Democrats always say they want “an honest conversation about race,” but they never have it because there is no outcome in which they aren’t exposed as the cause of what they decry. I say let’s have it, and it needs to start with just how destructive and evil the policies Democrats created have been and how they’ve used division and cries of racism to distract from them. Anyone else have anything to add?
