A productive person can get a lot done in 7 days. Democrats are not good at getting things done, but still manage to do a lot. Most of what they do is standing in the way of getting things done, and while they’d like to portray themselves as the Chinese man standing up to the tanks in Tiananmen Square, ideologically they are more in line with the guys driving those tanks. Over the last 7 days, Democrats have packed in a lot of stupid. It’s almost a skill, really, as people with high or even average intelligence would have difficulty finding so many new and creative ways to be idiots.
On the Sunday shows yesterday, each network had their token Democrat on the “respond” to what Secretary of State Marco Rubio said about the meeting between President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. What Rubio said was informed and true, as he was there, and what Democrats said was, well, pretty much all the crap they’d been spewing over the last 10 years – “Trump is owned by Russia!!!”
There is something oddly impressive about a person like Chris Murphy, Democrat Senator from Connecticut, in how he finds new and creative ways to look like an anti-American moron. Most people would stop just short of stupid, but Chris plows into like it’s the liberal activist he recently left his wife and kids for – he just closes his eyes, bites his bottom lip and hopes for the best.
Just like Murphy’s new conquest, the American people are always left wondering if there wasn’t someone, ANYONE, better in all of Connecticut. Sadly, they’re isn’t, they’re all awful and everyone is left disappointed.
Chris said a “peace deal” needs to include “some force there (in Ukraine), a US force, a US- European force there to defend Ukraine.” (Watch here starting at 3:36.) Does he realize he’s advocating for an occupation or World War III over the most corrupt and, honestly, one of the most irrelevant countries in Europe? I knew he was as bright as he was faithful to his wife, but I had no idea he was Bill Clinton-level unfaithful-stupid.
That was just one example on one Sunday show, they all had their Democrat.
The rest of the week had Democrats doing all they could to violate the Logan Act by trying to usurp US foreign policy powers from the President in the lead up to the meeting, hoping to hamstring the President before it even started.
And then there was every day last week where literally every Democrat expressed anger over the President of the United States publicly coming out against violent crime in Washington, DC.
The “Black Lives Matter” crowd gathered to give the collective finger to black people sick of losing their lives and being victims of violent goons because Trump moved to protect them. All they had to do was say they oppose crime too, but they couldn’t bring themselves to do it. It’s a hell of a political party that takes the position of “whatever that guy is for, we’re against.”
Residents of DC are happy as hell that someone is finally doing something about crime, and Democrats are pissed off at the exact same thing. You can’t make this up. If Trump cured cancer, Democrats would force 12-year-olds to start smoking to overwhelm hospitals, they’re that gross.
It’s a stance – not a smart one, but still a stance – to call the only man in the government with authority over DC who is not a Democrat “a fascist” and “a racist” for doing something to prevent the murders and victimizations of the people he’s allegedly racist against. It’s doubly rich that the Democrats, who’ve appointed themselves the protectors of black people, not only oppose actions meant to protect residents, but never lifted one damn finger to improve the quality of life in DC before now.
Honestly, Democrats aren’t even offering a passive, “We will do this” in response to crime, they just whine about wanting more money. DC has plenty of money, they just waste it while handcuffing police and refusing to prosecute any criminal, no matter how violent or depraved the crime, if they’re under 18.
Who would have though “a racist” would care more about black people than Democrats? Anyone who pays attention, actually.
Who would have predicted Democrats would come out in a full-throated endorsement of violent crime? That’s less surprising, actually, since they’ve been doing it with a passive whisper for decades.
Whatever the case, that’s a lot of stupid in just 7 days, and I didn’t even get to anything Zohran Mamdani, Eric Swalwell and Jasmine Crockett said this week. That’s like talking about the 1927 Yankees and not mentioning Waite Hoyt, Lou Gehrig or Babe Ruth. That’s how stupid this week was for them.
