News Avoidance Syndrome – NBC NEWS
It seems you all left out a significant detail…
There appears to be some excitement, for some reason, about Hillary Clinton declaring that Joe Biden should never have entered the presidential race to be reelected. This is some severe Monday Morning quarterbacking, and as NBC News details her comments, something significant appears to be missing.
While there is the temptation to say Hill here wants to close the barn door after the bovines escaped, it does not apply for one simple reason: She was enthusiastically backing Biden when he announced he would run again.
Something never mentioned in this @NBCNews piece about @HillaryClinton waxing intellectual about Biden’s attempt at reelection being a “terrible mistake”:

Meh, those are simple disqualifying details, no need to include THAT! pic.twitter.com/bIrRDPD02a

If ever there was a need for a follow-up…
The news out of Britain about the size and scope of the rape gangs perpetrated by immigrants in that nation has been stunning. The lack of enthusiasm for this story by our press is pretty unsettling, and it calls to mind prior efforts to downplay the severity of their crisis.
MAZE has a great callback where Anderson Cooper and Kara Swisher were dismissive of Elon Musk, who was highlighting the problem. There is no rush by them to update this story, probably since the number of victims explained in the report from the British Parliament is significantly higher.
Hey everybody, check out how incredibly idiotic Anderson Cooper and Kara Swisher are.

It is potentially negative, so Trump MUST be to blame!
We have seen the mounting tendency of the press to find any negatives possible concerning the World Cup (we researched it, and it is currently being played here in the U.S.), so long as it is something to be spun back onto President Trump.
In one storyline, the goalie for the Cape Verde team had a sterling game against heavily favored Spain, but his mother was unable to attend the match. This was blamed on the country being on the restricted visa list by our immigration policies, and Christiane Amanpour and her guest needed to make it about Trump, but there is more to the story.
It turns out families of players can get exceptions, and the State Department was actually working to have her qualified to attend, but the main reason she never applied for that visa was that the goalie’s mother does not even have the needed passport.
We are more than certain that Trump is responsible for that oversight.
CNN/PBS's Christiane Amanpour and author Simon Kuper do some World Cup-immigration conspiracy theorizing. Amanpour notes that the State Department is trying to get Cape Verde's goalkeeper a visa, "Was she not allowed before?" Kuper says "I think Cape Verde is one of those… pic.twitter.com/2ngABj0kTw

Both Kinds of Standards – CBS NEWS
Again, we are confused; this is the all-MAGA pro-Trump network, but reports on his heartless immigration enforcement?
CBS News delivers a heart-tugging story of a military veteran whose wife has been detained by ICE. This is all presented sympathetically, of course, but we should gloss over the details — because that is what CBS did.
She entered the country illegally, repeatedly, and while being here for decades, she and her husband never got around to having her naturalized. Also, there is the small matter that she has a standing deportation order from 20 years ago.

Border-line Obsession – MS NOW
Is there any particular reason they are being held, or nah?
In recent weeks, the Delaney Immigration Facility has become the latest flashpoint location for Democrats and dutiful members of the press over which to rise up in opposition. Playing the proper role at MS NOW is Antonia Hylton. She brought on the children of Geraldine Owen Delaney, after whom the building was named. It was originally set up as an alcohol rehabilitation center, and her kids are dismayed that it is used today to house and oppress illegal immigrant detainees.
(Easy fix, kids: Remove her name from the building.)
To underscore the issues they have with the immigration center, Hylton highlights the plight of a detainee and the impact it has had on the family. Left off of Hylton’s report, however, is that the featured individual has a record, with an assault conviction, and faces numerous other assault charges.

Artisanally-Crafted Narratives – OUTSPORTS
We await the BREAKING headline should anyone compose a tersely-worded email!
The press continues to grind out b****iness over the San Francisco Giants players who dared to place a Bible verse on their uniform hats for the recent Pride night game. Looking to desperately join in with the outrage is this LGBT𝜋 sporting site, which finds a representative who described the deeply troubling effects the scribbled Bible verse delivered on the community, as confusion and pain are being felt.
By him. The site eagerly reports that one local fan feels these things, and he wrote a letter to the team about it.
News, folks. This is considered “news.”
