Anti-Social Media – THE INDEPENDENTS
Don's FA excitement appears to be leading to FO realities.
On Sunday, a disturbing tableau played out on social media where a mob of Minneapolis protesters, spearheaded by Black Lives Matter organizers, stormed into an area church during services. The entire raucous incursion was recorded, and much of it was displayed by disgraced former CNN fixture Don Lemon.
The quasi-journalist was involved in the whole affair, from its start to the trespassing, and he even grilled the pastor on camera.

But let’s be clear the First Amendment protects free speech, not chaos. Churches are private property, and worship isn’t a protest zone. What happened… pic.twitter.com/aexy5xOILA
Don also gleefully put this out on the socials, touting that the purpose of protests was to make people uncomfortable.

Then…reality set in.
The overall reaction to this stunt was negative, and then, many began noting how this action was a direct violation of the Biden-era protective legislation, the FACE Act. Very quickly, Mr. Lemon was changing his narrative, trying to sell the concept that he was not a part of the protest but had been a late addition, serving only as a journalist observer.
Don Lemon LIED after the DOJ launched an investigation into his involvement with anti-ICE activists who stormed a Minneapolis church. HE KNEW the EXACT ADDRESS and knew that they were going to disrupt the church service.

There's a small – make that, a LARGE – problem with his excuse-making: There was Don, seen at the planning stages of this, and the organizer herself put out a post thanking those behind their efforts. Among those she praised? One Mr. Don Lemon.
💥: #NEW - INTENT: The opening to Don Lemon’s insane livestream is an admission of foreknowledge that the group he was in contact with was going to storm a church, based on his prior communications with its leader.

Just listen in as he is describing what is set to take place that morning, and note how he acknowledges that he cannot divulge what they have planned, and name-checks the woman behind what is set to take place. He was clearly plugged into the whole affair ahead of time and not a fortunate journalist. Otherwise, how would he have known to just show up in a random parking lot yet describe that they are set to be disruptive and that he planned to film the entire confrontation live?

Pre-Written Field Reports – CBS NEWS
Now, Maggie, if you dispute the data, you are required to supply contrasting figures, you understand, correct?
On "Face the Nation," Margaret Brennan continued her tradition of bringing on Republicans and becoming clowned by the delivery of narrative-disrupting solid facts. For the latest, she invited DHS Secretary Kristi Noem on to discuss immigration and deportation details, and it led to one tense exchange.
In addressing the number of those detained who have serious criminal records, Noem stated that 70 percent have either convictions or charges against them, either here and/or in their country of origin. Brennan responded to this with a declarative, "It's not 70 percent." And that was it. There was a lingering silence, and Noem flatly told her it was, in fact, the correct amount. What is striking here are two factors:
The reason that this came up was that Brennan had asked Noem directly what the amount is. And then, when flatly contesting her number, Brennan did nothing more to refute the data. This was the extent of her claim. She supplied the verbal equivalent of, "Nuh Uh!"
.@Sec_Noem: 70% of the illegals detained by ICE have been convicted of or charged with a crime.

Margaret Brennan: "It's not 70%."@Sec_Noem: "It absolutely is."

Dos Equis-pert Opinion – THE DAILY BEAST
Diagnosis from across the country is largely accurate.
Remember back in the early portions of 2024 when anyone daring to question the integrity of President Biden's condition was hectored and accused of engaging in ageism? And how those attacks against the inquisitive exploration of his condition were delivered by the newsmakers?
Well, welcome to 2026, when that same press corps now openly and routinely rises to question the health and well-being of President Trump. For the latest, they have a doctor from the state of Washington who conclusively comes forward to say the president had a stroke and suffers from the after-effects.
President Donald Trump suffered a stroke several months ago and has kept it from the public, a medical expert has claimed. https://t.co/1dZplziIjJ

Reporting on the Mirror – CBS NEWS
After all this time, one would think it would have delivered something of an impact.
You might recall it was a few weeks ago when there was a flood of outrage over Bari Weiss pulling a segment from 60 Minutes covering the CECOT prison in El Salvador. You may have missed that the segment aired on the program last night.
This is rather revealing, as you would expect a report that had been declared so trenchant and an amazing piece of journalism would be hailed today, as it had finally been brought to light.
Instead, there was minimal reaction seen, and this would indicate that all the melodrama was primarily about the move by Weiss, and not actually because of the content.
It should be rather obvious now that the tantrum wasn’t over @bariweiss not letting 60 Minutes run a segment critical of the Trump admin, but that she insisted they provide viewers full context instead of just activist one-sided narratives.

Artisanally-Crafted Narratives – (Unknown)
Please, please tell us their editors pulled them aside in the office for a good talking to!
Lee Zeldin and Sean Duffy were at a Ford Motors plant to give a presser on how they are rolling back Biden mandates and other restrictions on the auto makers, which were designed to compel manufacturing of electric vehicles and drive the marketplace into buying more of those cars and trucks. These restrictions only managed to severely raise prices on vehicles, as well as leading to billions in losses for the companies making those vehicles.
As they addressed the media, Zeldin was asked by an unnamed reporter the most inane question: How does it help the American auto workers when the price of vehicles comes down?
Watch as you hear Lee Zeldin respond by basically answering the question in crayon, so this impacted thinker might grasp the obvious.

Glossary Over Things – THE NEW YORK TIMES
This derisive acronym is said to be worse than Stassi comparisons?!
The New York Times has found the latest hand-wringing pearl-clutching criticism of "the far-right." It seems that the activist wine-moms who are generating a flood of resistance videos in the wake of the shooting of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis are being described with initials!
The term getting The Times in a lather is "AWFUL," meaning Affluent White Female Urban Liberal. It seems a rather straightforward description of what we have been witnessing from these hyper-plugged-in reactionary women, yet The Times sees this as a bothersome development.
Bear in mind, this is the same media with no hesitation of tossing out "Hitler" and "Nazi" accusations toward those on the Right, including this same newspaper, but now AWFUL has crossed some sort of line of decency.
