PHOENIX (BP)--Baptist Press once again will cover the Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting in real-time format, utilizing its blog, Twitter feed and Facebook page.

It is the fifth straight year Baptist Press has hosted the blog, which can be accessed at www.bpnews.net/blog.

The goal is to post breaking news within seconds of it happening. Baptist Press' Twitter feed (www.Twitter.com/BaptistPress) and Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/BaptistPress) will allow readers who are on the go to stay up to date on annual meeting events.

The blog, Twitter and Facebook pages provide readers the basics of stories while Baptist Press' reporters develop more in-depth reports.

The blog will post detailed information quite often, with the Twitter feed and Facebook page showcasing breaking news and blog highlights.

The annual meeting begins Tuesday in Phoenix.
