ASHEVILLE, N.C. (BP)--Evangelist Billy Graham "continues to improve" and remains in fair condition as he recovers from pneumonia, according to a hospital release.
Graham, admitted to Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C., Wednesday, is responding well to the antibiotics, although no discharge date has been set. The hospital is near his Montreat, N.C., home. He is 92.
"Mr. Graham's staff said that, following a comfortable night during which he slept well, he continues to be in good spirits," the statement said.
He also praised the "skill and loving care" of the nursing staff.
