For all information regarding registration, visit www.sbcannualmeeting.net and click on "Children & Students."

SBC Fuge is planned by the Centrifuge and M-Fuge staff of LifeWay Christian Resources for students who have completed the 7th through 12th grades. According to the website, the Fuge sessions will include worship, seminars and recreation, with a goal of encouraging, challenging and equipping "the next generation of leaders in the Southern Baptist Convention."

The theme for the 2011 SBC Fuge, "Connect," will focus on developing godly relationships, according to the site. This year's theme verse is Matthew 22:37-39, which says, " said to him, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important commandment. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

The event's pastor will be Jeff Pratt, director of student ministry training and events for LifeWay. Plans for the worship leader have not yet been announced.

To register for the Monday through Wednesday sessions, call toll-free 1-800-254-2022 or visit www.lifeway.com/event/?id=386. Fuge and other student and children's programs at the SBC will be held in the Phoenix Convention Center.

CHILDREN

Registration remains open until June 1 for families to enroll their children in preschool childcare and the children's conference in conjunction with the annual meeting.

Childcare for newborns through 3-year-olds will be available from Sunday evening through Wednesday, June 12-15. (For older children, see children's conference below.) There is a non-refundable registration fee of $10 per child for preschool care. This fee is in addition to the session fees for the convention. The cost per session is $5 per child, not to exceed $40 per family, plus the $10 non-refundable registration fee. Lunch also will be available for preschoolers on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at $5 per meal. Complete payment is due for all sessions, and lunch if selected, no later than arrival at the first session.

Preschool registration is being handled exclusively online at www.sbcannualmeeting.net. Questions can be directed to childcare@sbc.net.

Children ages 4-12, meanwhile, can participate in an age-graded, Scripture-based conference provided by Children's Conferences International. This year's theme, "Ride the Waves!" will include fun songs, crafts, stories, skits and games.
