There is a Chinese curse that says, “May you live in interesting times.” We are certainly there. We are at a time when the blatant hypocrisy before us would be laughable if not so doggone serious.
What ails America today is the complete and abject relativism of the progressive socialist left when it comes to moral, constitutional, and judicial matters...truth. Truth is not situational or subjective, but that is what the left wishes us to believe. Truth to them is rooted in their ideological agenda, all else be damned. It is the greatest evidence of Machiavellian thought; their ends will always justify their means. And their ends shall be attained by any means necessary.
Let's start with the hilarious grand production called the January 6 hearings. Am I the only one who feels that it is dangerous that we now have a DC Bastille? Yes, when did we get to the point where Americans can be held, detained, for months, years, with no formal charges, and no trial? I find it quite perplexing that all of a sudden, the FBI can scour the country and find folks who were in DC that day...yet, they cannot find a single member of Antifa? The left can demonize regular Americans yet even the Vice President, Kamala Harris, worked to raise bail funds to have violent protestors released from jail. And why do we not have hearings on these domestic terrorist groups like Antifa who go about, masked, clad in black, destroying government buildings and assaulting police. Yes, a laser into the eyes of a person is an assault. Hmm, no banning of that weapon.
Where was the leftist outrage when Maxine Waters and Chuck Schumer issued threats against members of the Trump administration and also Supreme Court justices? Chuck Schumer should be investigated for stating that Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh would "reap the whirlwind and not know what hit them.” Well, last week, someone was arrested and admitted his intent to assassinate Justice Kavanaugh and we heard nothing from the left. They were also silent when an avowed Bernie Sanders supporter and patron of MSNBC decided to assassinate members of the Congressional Republican baseball team. Does anyone believe that if constitutional conservatives were marching outside the homes of leftist justices they would not be immediately thrown in jail?
This is the playbook of progressives, socialists, leftists, Marxists, and communists -- coercion, threats, intimidation, and ultimately violence. It is the rise of the mob and the creation of a mobocracy and a two-tiered justice system that works against regular Americans.
The progressive socialist left’s agenda is to disarm legal, law abiding, responsible Americans and leave us powerless to defend ourselves and our families against the criminals they enable. We have a right to keep and bear arms, and it is a right that "shall not be infringed.”
Just last week I was astonished at the imbecilic comment from Joy Behar (yes, I know, that is a regular for her) stating that when Blacks get guns in America, gun laws will change. The two fastest growing demographics for gun ownership in America are women and Blacks. And Blacks are arming themselves due to the lack of safety and security in their communities, per leftist policies of criminal catch and release. Matter of fact, it was a Black man from Chicago, Otis McDonald, who took his case to the Supreme Court, McDonald v City of Chicago, and won the decision of application of the Second Amendment to states and municipalities.
It was also the National Rifle Association that gave firearms training to Black civil rights organizations in the south as the Democrat Party was once again unleashing the KKK against Blacks. As well, it was Democrats who denied Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. his application for a license to carry, a clear violation of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, something the Democrat Party did not support.
The justice system has been weaponized against political opponents of the Left. Hillary Clinton's lawyer can indeed lie to the FBI, but no worries, just get a partisan DC jury and all will be well. But, if you are Roger Stone, LTG Michael Flynn, and Peter Navarro, the left will use their powers to unlawfully detain you and destroy you.
The corrupted justice system is instrumental in the left’s resetting of our values. The system now protects those who would take advantage of vulnerable children. In Dallas, there was recently a "drag your kids to pride" event held at a gay bar. The left encourages "grooming" children for illicit purposes. Where was child protective services in this case? Try and have a school field trip to a place of Judeo-Christian faith heritage significance, and watch leftists go apoplectic.
Morals, our Constitution, and our system of justice are not relative to any political ideology, they are concrete truths and foundations in a free society, especially this Constitutional Republic. If we continue to allow the jackhammering of our foundation by the deranged and demented leftists in America, we will fall. I am committed to never allowing that to happen...are you?
