It's pretty obvious by now that the Democrat Party is beholden to the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), and that the DSA simply says aloud the things Democrats only said at D.C. cocktail parties. That, and current Democrat leadership is terrified the DSA will come for them next.
That's why guys like Chuck Schumer can say, with a straight face, that the DSA has a place in the DNC, simply because not everyone agrees on every single issue.
But, as Jonathan Turley points out, the DSA has admitted it hates the Constitution.
Chuck Schumer on welcoming the DSA into the party: "Not everyone has the same exact view on every single issue."

The DSA Steering Committee member Cliff Connolly: We are "famous for" “Our hatred of the United States Constitution.” https://t.co/j8nk2kHlVn
When asked about the extreme agenda of these candidates, Schumer and others repeat the mantra that they need to win in the upcoming elections. In other words, the DSA is opposed to the core institutions and values of this country, but it could be useful in returning them to power.
What is interesting is that the establishment does not appear to care what these radicals represent for their party, but the radicals care deeply about what the establishment represents. This week, former DNC Vice-chair David Hogg told establishment figures that the “Big Tent” of his party is not big enough for them. He and other moderates have to go. When asked about Democratic moderates, Hogg replied, “They don’t have the right values.”
Piker has even grander plans for our post-constitutional republic, calling for mass arrests, demanding pledges from establishment figures to “arrest and prosecute every prominent member of the Trump administration” who engaged in what he views as corruption as well as “every ICE agent who committed crimes on the job.
As Turley also points out, Hasan Piker wants anyone who doesn't support Abdul El-Sayed "punished" for their misbehavior. El-Sayed, by the way, will not support Schumer as Senate Majority Leader if Democrats retake control of the chamber. El-Sayed backed Chris Van Hollen, with the end goal of enacting Medicare for All.
Should the Democrats welcome people who hate the Constitution under their big tent? Is that the new "diversity"? Where do Democrats draw the line?@SenSchumer @RepJeffries https://t.co/RnJGoECpUz

Democrats have no line. They want to beat Trump and regain power, and they'll align with a faction that wants to destroy America — including the Senate of which Schumer is part — to obtain that power.
You either embrace communism and all of the violence and the 100+ million murders it historically produced or you don’t. It’s a pretty clear-cut choice. https://t.co/ArjNtT6Fh7

Democrats are clearly choosing the latter. And once the DSA is in control, removing them will be very hard. Look at Nicaragua, where socialist president Daniel Ortega just ended free elections to keep his hold on power. That will happen here with the DSA in charge.
