Was this story filed in Mexico City? What are we even doing here? I guess the Post, not wanting to be beaten by CNN’s creepiness, decided to track down the estranged brother of Natalie Harp, President Trump’s top aide, who is being concern trolled to death by the media, though some of it is grounded in the hope that this blossoms into a full-blown sex scandal. The publication really went down south of the border, so we can learn more about Harp’s “gringo Sandinista” brother:

What appeared to be a Sandinista military hat lay beside a suitcase. A flag of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) — which led an armed guerrilla resistance that overthrew the dictatorship of U.S.-backed Anastasio Somoza in 1979 — hung from his wall. Displayed on a shelf were several books by and about the Argentine-born revolutionary leader Ernesto “Che” Guevara, as well as a certificate issued by a Sandinista-affiliated group.
“Preston Harp,” read the caption of another photo, “Un gringo Sandinista.”
Preston Harp did not respond Friday to several requests for comment. Neither did the White House, and neither did Natalie Harp.
The Washington Post confirmed Preston Harp’s residency in Nicaragua and the authenticity of his Facebook account with two Nicaraguan friends whose photos he posted.
“He’s a big fan” of the Sandinistas, said one friend, Francisco Larios. “He likes the government.”

In an interview earlier this week with CNN’s Erin Burnett, Preston Harp called his sister’s relationship with the president “sad.”
“That’s obsession,” he said. “That’s like an unhealthy obsession with someone.”
He urged Natalie to renounce her politics.
“I hope you change and that you wake up and you realize that everybody on this Earth is part of a human family, and no country is better than any other country,” he said.
I feel like Tara regrets going the independent route and will say stupid stuff because she misses the attention.

Oh, who cares, man? Families can have differing political views, and for this clown to hope his sister changes her mind is flat-out ridiculous. Who the hell are you, but an ex-pat who believes in ideas that have consistently failed? Top aides are often with the president; she’s passionate. Bill Maher even made a lighthearted joke about her; it wasn’t as biting as the line he dropped on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The point is when something becomes a punchline, it’s not a story.
SHOCKING: Bill Maher DEFENDS President Trump’s TRUSTED Aide Natalie Harp: “I don’t know why you have to go after her, you know. She seems incredibly devoted to her job, never takes a day off. Sometimes she works so hard she forgets to eat and sleep, and now everyone in America is… pic.twitter.com/YQ2yfkGdAN
