Socialism is, at the end of the day, rooted in greed. Supreme greed. It's not about elevating the working class; it's not about improving anyone's life. It's a bunch of privileged, rich leftists who want to destroy the systems that made them rich, spoiled leftists so no one else can live in luxury as they do.

They want the power to run everything so they can make sure the masses stay in their rightful place. One of the ways to do that is to seize private property. That means it'll be run down, infested with crime and other problems, and that there's no way for the common man to build wealth and escape that oppression. 

Cea Weaver, one of Mamdani's housing advisors, is in favor of abolishing private property. But her mother owns a mansion in Tennessee that will never be seized by the commies. That's (D)ifferent, of course. Another one of Mamdani's advisors is Tracy Rosenthal. She's the author of "Abolish Rent" and the nepo baby of a four-time Grammy winner. It turns out Rosenthal hasn't paid her $2,300/month rent in nearly six years.

Yet despite her first-class upbringing, she’s been on a four-year “rent strike” since moving back to New York City after a stint in Los Angeles — because the Bolshevik bugged out after spotting a cockroach in her hip $2,300 a month Bed-Stuy apartment.

She said the landlord refused to hire an exterminator, and after finding out the building had more rental units than were legally approved and was facing foreclosure, she organized with the other tenants to eventually stop paying rent, stiffing the owner of at least $108,000 on her unit alone.

Her Bed-Stuy landlord, Adetunji Akinboboye, eventually lost the building to foreclosure in 2023.

US Bank, the new owner, is now suing Rosenthal, along with four other tenants, for eviction, saying they have “squatted upon the premises,” according to records filed in housing court in November. The cases are still before the courts.

It'll be interesting to see what the courts rule.

They drove the landlord out of business and into foreclosure. Who is fixing the building now? US Bank certainly isn't.

Always, invariably.

We have raised a class of entitled, over-educated, spoiled brats who now want to run everything.

They never give up their trust funds; they never give up their privilege. Those sacrifices are for other people to make.

While they pull up the ladder so the rest of us can't become wealthy.
