Murder is nothing to laugh at. The public is outraged and have good reason. Palin and the other big mouth rabble rousers need to rein themselves in...they are like out of control 2 year olds tearing the country apart with their slander, misinformation and campaign of hate.

MSNBC has no credibility.
Keith Olbermann is a laughingstock.

Therefore, when we on the right get so up-in-arms about this fool, do we not actually serve his purposes? When we bring him back into the spotlight with our reactions to his bile, he gets noticed. He gets publicity.

Reveling in the dust-up, his bosses say, “Hey, controversy brings viewers. Increased viewers=increased revenue. Better keep ole KO around.”
And Olbermann smiles.

We play into his hands.

What might happen if every time there’s another KO outrage, the right didn’t react?
What if we dropped him off our radar screen?
Refused to take his bait or acknowledge his existence?

What if every time he spouts another libelous remark, all he heard from the right was. ....

Mr. Olbermann,
You, sir, are sanctimonious and disingenuous. You talk about Palin's pointing and blaming, completely ignoring the fact that her video was a RESPONSE to those who pointed at HER and blamed.
Offense at "blood libel" lies only within the realm of the Palin haters. I noted that of all the quotations listed at the outset of your segment, you selected the one most politically rabid. And, at the end, you thanked him for coming in at such a late hour. Did you have to work hard to get him, Mr. Olbermann? Did you pay him extra?
Shame on you. The Jews I know realize that "blood libel" has come into common usage. They realize they live in the 21st century - not the 11th. They think nothing of this, EXCEPT the ones who...

What Keith and others out there don't understand is the fact that within less than one hour certain liberals who think they know everything had it all figured out as to who was to blame. I saw on facebook numerous people pointing the finger of blame at the right and Sara Palin. At one point some of comments saying that it should have been her and not Giffords. To those who can't seem to think for themselves and need someone like Olberman to form an opinion Palin was using the term in defense of herself from what people on the internet were posting in reference to their blaming her and the right. This is not an issue of whether the right or the left is blame, this an issue of a person who had no other agenda to strike at a government...

So wait. Commenters here are defending her sue of the term "blood libel"? Is there anything about her you are willing to criticize?

What if Obama had used the same term in reference to his critics?

We know the answer to THAT.

Isn't it amazing how "nuanced" and "intelligent" the left is until they hear something they don't like or hear it from someone they don't like. Then, everything is suddenly only to be used literally.

Besides which, even if Keith doesn't like the particular analogy constructed and presented, note how he doesn't address the point of it, that people were blaming someone for something that she had nothing to do with.

Finally, Keith, watch your smarmy corrections of others. The word is pronounced "thi-sore-us," not "thes-or-us."

I have to wonder that if "pundints" like Olbermann had not parsed Palin's response to the "libelous" and hostile accusations being made against her by the media, politicians, elected law enforcement officials and the entire liberal blogosphere, and seized on the innocuous use of "blood libel," if anyone would have noticed. Funny how the media can ignore all but a single word or statement that can be used to demean and ridicule. The civility of the left is something to behold is it not?

Actually, I'm glad MSNBC is on the air. Whenever I hear some libtard start spouting about how Fox News is ruining our country, I just say MSNBC. They usually say, "What?" Then I ask them to defend MSNBC as an unbiased new channel. They cannot, so then I ask them why it's okay for the MSM to be bias, MSNBC to be super biased and then wrong for Fox News to be allegedly biased in the other direction.

Reminds me of the time VP Dan Quayle was ridiculed for having misjudged the correct spelling of the word "potato." At a school spelling bee, he'd been given a page with the "bee" words--and asked to serve as a judge. The judges' list had potato misspelled. Quayle never heard the end of leftist criticism. Quayle was their daily doofus from that point out.

Then we were given a REAL doofus. Thank you, God, for the gift of Joe Biden.

All that's missing to complete the circle is . . .leftist criticism of Biden.

Perfect example of the leftist template; they cannot rebut the content of the conservative message, so they demonize the conservative for imagined slights. The term "blood libel" has been part of common parlance for centuries - mostly having nothing at all to do with the etymology of the term.

Did I just hear Herr Olbermeister crack on Ms palin for using a tele-prompter? Talk about your selective criticism.

When statists/Democrats/liberals/progressives can't compete with conservatives, they try to silence them or demonize them.

These Alinsky rules (Rules for Radicals, by Saul Alinsky) are always being used by leftists against conservatives:

3. "Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy. Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. (This happens all the time. Watch how many organizations under attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that they are then forced to address.)

8. "Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose."

10. "The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant...

Apart from the content of Olbermann's comments ( I think Palin used the term "blood libel" perfectly correctly), I thought it was funny how he made fun of Palin for miprounouncing "pundits" ("pundints"), which was almost imperceivable, and yet he went on to pronounce "theSAURus" "THESaurus" and ask why his guest took OFFense at Palin's remarks. The latter must be a throwback to his sports announcer days. What a bozo!

Anti-Semetic is not only a huge reach, it's ignorant. The only people that will believe that is the ignorant people that watch his show.

In Palin's defense, not that she needs any against stupid ignorant rants like this one, she actually used the term very correctly in context. The Liberal Left are constantly trying to make the Tea Party supporters appear to be blood thirsty savages. The term comes from an old tradition that is still practiced today in the Middle East by Muslims where they tell their children that the Jews kill Muslim and Christian Children to drink their blood because they are blood thirsty savages.

But saying Sarah Palin is antisemetic because she barrowed "THEIR" term and used it as a Metaphor is as nuts as the...

What's with this fetish about single words. Palin spoke for seven minutes or so, and critics mention one word. It is ike Al Sharpton reducing the whole civil rights movement to objection to the "N" word.
There was a lot more to it than that. In this case, the impression that Palin is antisemitic is false. She is an ardent supporter of Israel, more so than many on the left.

Olbermann is just jealous. The Liberal left needs dirt on people so they can try to bring them down to their level. But when you have a knock-out brunnett with a head on her shoulders who doesn't cheat on her husband or have any dirt she is a threat because she is better than them. They will say and twist anything she does to try to tarnish her, to make her look bad, to make her just like themselves. When she doesn't give them any ammo they just squirm in their own juices unable to control themselves.

In a sad way it's similar to qliques with kids in Highschool. A new smoking hot girl comes to school and because she is so good looking and new the popular girls sit there and pick on her. It's a major insecurity issue. But after all,...
