This is a true lady with class and ability the left can only dream about. My first thought upon hearing her introductory speech was that she is our Margaret Thatcher at the most important time in our history. Let the bloggers rattle on. The women of America will only intensify their anger with the obvious sexism that oozes from the left's every printed line. Were the tables turned, no male candidate would be treated in this fashion.

Used stones...Sexist Politics
Let the Hillary-hating liberals pick up the stones once hurled at Hillary and throw them at Govenor Palin. Let the media continue to question how Palin will handle being a mother and VP. Let the liberal bloggers at Kos and other kooks continue attacking Palin's 17 year old daughter and down-syndrome baby boy. McCain/Palin will win in a HUGE landslide! Reagan democrats and Hillary voters will REJECT these attacks and vote for Palin to break the glass ceiling and bury the sexist politics once and for all.

I admit I teared up when I heard the pick. I kept telling everyone he was going to pick a women and I thought it might be Palin. But when it actually happened I was overjoyed. I'm so proud of my Republican Party.

McCain/Palin: A ticket of heroes
We need more heroes America. We have that in John McCain, the Vietnam war veteran. Now, with the recent news about Palin's teenage pregnant daughter, I don't think it's necessarily a negative reflection on her or the Republican ticket. On the other hand, it makes some Democrats and media folks look more foolish for giving such attention into the matter. Her daughter is not running for office and it says nothing about Palin other than the fact that she is a normal mom who faces challenges like any other mom in America. In any event, I hope Palin addresses the issue of what it's like to be a career woman/mother/wife who has faced numerous challenges in the past including having a baby with Down's syndrome, having your Army-enlisted son being shipped to Iraq, and now having a teenage pregnant daughter, all while successfully running the largest state in the U.S. (with about an 80% approval rating there) – and while battling the "good old boys' network.” She's a hero in my book and should be for every woman in America.
