“DON’T cut deals with the DEVIL!” and “Get a SPINE Chuck” were just some of the signs carried by thousands of protesters outside Sen. Chuck Schumer’s Brooklyn apartment Tuesday night, demanding he protest President Trump’s cabinet picks.
“Senator Schumer needs to know we’re watching him,” Brad Wolchansky told The New York Post.
“He works for us. We need him to be bold. We need him to stand up to Trump and oppose his picks,” added Wolchansky, who was carrying a cardboard cutout of an eye.
Wolchansky was one of an estimated 3,000 who gathered outside Schumer’s apartment to protest the Senate minority leader’s “centrist” positions, such as voting in favor of three of the president’s nominees—Gen. James Mattis for the Defense Department, Gen. John Kelly for the Department of Homeland Security, and Mike Pompeo for the CIA—despite opposing eight others.
“He’s talking the talk on social media, but is he walking the walk?” said Cambra Moniz-told The Post. “What the f–k, Chuck?!”
Apparently believing Schumer’s tears over Trump’s immigration executive order to be genuine, she continued: “His tears know what’s right … It takes a real man to cry and lead.”

Others, meanwhile, brought props to get their point across.
“I’m trying to whip Chuck Schumer into shape so he can whip those ‘no’ votes,” Dara Barr, who was waving a whip around, told The Post.
Apparently the protesters missed Schumer’s pledge to only work with Trump if he “moves completely in our direction and abandons Republicans.”
