Hillary Clinton Cancels Victory Fireworks Show in NYC

Hillary Clinton has canceled a planned firework display for her planned victory on Tuesday night, according to TMZ

The Clinton campaign contacted the Coast Guard for permission to pull off a 2-minute long fireworks display over the Hudson River when election results go final. The fireworks would be visible from the Jacob Javits Center, where she’s holding her election night party.  However, the Coast Guard tells TMZ that the Clinton campaign wouldn't be shooting off the 10" aerial shells, after all.

According to the New York Post, New York Police Chief Tommy Galati said that the department believes the fireworks show has been canceled.

“They do have a permit for fireworks, but at this point we believe the fireworks is canceled,” he said.
