Please Frank, incomes have never been higher than they are today. Infact they're too high for government employees. Their wages and pensions can't be sustained that why we need to get rid of the Unions, they are breaking the bank. If the Unions continue their assault on taxpayers soon the whole system will collapse and no one will have a job.

The advance of Unions and the increase in their power direct corrolates to the increase in the National Entitlement Mentality. Unions were needed when exploitation of an undereducated population (Which came from a defunct European Economy) was rampant. This exploitation was evident in our working class slums for example. Every day they stand out there and shout about how unfair Walker is, they lose more and more support from the taxpayers who are struggling to keep their jobs after pay cuts, pay freezes, healthcare insurance increases, furloughs, the disappearance of their 401(k) matches, a heavier workload and on and on and on.

Sure people have the right to join together in negotiations, but they don't have a right to exclusively control negotiations with an employer. Unions have claimed an exclusive right to determine what the pay or conditions of any employee is, and thus taken away the right of employers to negotiate with others who would choose to do so on an individual basis, this is essentially claiming a right to any job that may be created not just by a company, but within an industry. Are you seriously trying to tell me that the schmuck who doesn't work as hard as me or doesn't have the same skills has a right to be paid the same as me? What if another group of people decide to associate on different terms?Are we then obligated to cede our rights to...

girl buddy, the corruption involved is not acknowledged by these people, they refuse to argue this point and will deny it exists or matters. This does not fit the narrative. Since they have decided their issue is entirely valid and won't accept the facts, there is no point in even discussing the issue. ALL public unions must be disbanded, permanently.

You're most likely unaware that Federal public union members are forbidden to have collective bargaining rights. This was put into place by President Jimmy Carter and a Congress that was a democratic majority in both the House and the Senate. Don't you think that it's strange that the Democrats thought that it was wrong that public service unions should have collective bargaining rights back then, but they now think that they're basic civil rights when the Republicans are in power?

Also remember that the patron saint of the New Deal, FDR, was completely against public sector unions. Why? Because in the 1930's, progressives still had some integrity. They knew that public sector unions were a bad deal for taxpayers. Today, progressives are all about ripping off the taxpayers, so integrity be damned.
