Rep. King Calls Out TSA on Security Breach

Rep. Pete King has sent a letter to TSA administrator John Pistole addressing a security breach that allowed a non-U.S. citizen to fly from New York to Los Angeles with an expired boarding pass that wasn't even in his name.

"Although Committee staff has yet to be adequately briefed on the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) risk-based checkpoint screening initiative despite repeated requests, I urge you to audit the performance of all travel document checkers before fully implementing this program," the letter says.

King also wants to be briefed on what TSA is doing to address the "recent failures" and how they are handling the negligent "travel document checker" at John F. Kennedy airport.
