Ohio Secretary of State's Conflict of Interest

Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner has been in the news lately because of her reluctance to pursue voter registration fraud being done by ACORN in her state. She was recently ordered by the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals to start using her government records to stop it.

Now some people are having questions about some of Brunner's other official work.

Justin Miller of PolitickerOH.com reports  Brunner was the tie-breaking vote in a favorable ruling for Mahoning County sheriff candidate David Aey that allowed him to run as a write in candidate three weeks ago.

Turns out Aey paid Brunner's husband $1,500 out of his campaign fund for legal fees in 2007.
