Breitbart to 'Mainstream Media': Bring It On

Andrew Breitbart, publisher of BigGovernment.com, the website famous for running James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles' undercover ACORN investigative footage, definitely drove the sleepiness from everyone's eyes early this morning with remarks at CPAC.  Introduced by Giles herself, Breitbart didn't waste anytime before unleashing grievances on today's "mainstream" media, liberal educational institutions and progressives' obsessions with "multi-culturalism" and political correctness.

Breitbart spoke briefly about his time in college--a place he said teaches America's youth to be depressed individuals rather than preparing them for the working world.  He had harsh words for progressives like John Podesta, president and founder of the ultra-liberal Americans for Progress.  Referring to Podesta specifically, Breitbart said, "It's over," referring to progressives' "Contract Against America."  As you can imagine, the conservative crowd ate it up.

Finally, speaking directly to MSNBC's Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow, two liberal commentators who seem relentlesy resentful of American success, Breitbart joked that he was "here to save them." And though they tried to lambaste him in their coverage of the ACORN scandal, Breitbart pledged, "I'm going to make you relentlessly cheery if it is my last breath."
