An earnest question for the gallery: Does anyone here -- our lefty friends included -- believe Anthony Weiner is telling the complete truth? Is it possible to watch this avert-your-eyes video, and still cling to that conclusion, even if it's what you want to believe? Via the Media Research Center:

The furious mom of the Seattle college coed at the center of Weinergate yesterday demanded that the cocky congressman come clean about the lewd photo.

"I'm really upset. I feel like he's a person of power and influence, who can make a statement and make all this go away," Carol Mizuguchi said, blasting Rep. Anthony Weiner for his continued snarky sidestepping. "As her mother, I'm really upset," Mizuguchi told The Post. "I'm pissed off at that."

For what it's worth, ~~Captain Erection~~ Congressman Weiner has again assumed a "I'm not going to answer any more questions" posture -- which I believe was his position on Tuesday, too. As Jim Treacher snarks, maybe he's gearing up for another useless, answer-free media blitz tomorrow:

Rep. Weiner seems to be employing a crafty odd/even-day strategy. On even days, he’s not talking about this anymore. On odd days, he runs aound telling dick jokes. He must be working on some new ones for tomorrow.
