20,000 Protest Obamacare

It was attended by actor Jon Voight, Reps. Mike Pence, (R-Ind.), Michele Bachmann, (R-Minn.), and Steve King, (R-Iowa), among others. Some estimates put the crowd size at 25,000, but no matter what it was, the front lawn of the Capitol was covered with protesters, waging a last stand against Obamacare.

It was a beautiful day in Washington, D.C. — the first weekend warm enough to wear short sleeves. Funny — this is about the time when the protests got into full swing last year.

The rally is slated to end at around 4, when the protesters will move to the Capitol. There, they'll flood Congressional offices to make a final push against the bill.

Over 60 different tea party groups were involved in organizing the event. They shipped activists in by the bus load.

While the protest was going on, Congress was engaged in professional acrobatics to figure out how to pass this unpopular bill without actually taking a vote on it.

They should've walked out into the sunshine, and listened to their constituents.
