Obama Losing Jewish Vote?

First there was the surprising Republican win in NY-9, Rep. Anthony Weiner's former House seat, and a district that has a strong Jewish vote.

Now there's this, from Israel National News:

U.S. President Barack Obama currently has the support of 64% of Jewish registered voters, according to the Gallup polling agency. This is 10% less than the percentage of Jews who voted for Obama in 2008, and is similar to the percentage of Jews who voted for Michael Dukakis when he contended for the presidency against George Bush in 1988. Republican Mitt Romney enjoys 29% support among Jews.

Gallup notes the 10-point drop is "five points worse than his decline among all registered voters compared with 2008.”

Interesting. We ran an article in Townhall Magazine not long ago that mentioned a prominent Israeli radio host who had attended the Democrat National Convention in 2008 now says he'd feel uncomfortable wearing on the streets of Tel Aviv an Obama T-shirt he picked up at the event.

This was supposed to be the president who restored our standing with the international community. Hmmm.
