VANCOUVER, WA -- I started my day in Seattle, where I caught up with Republican Senate candidate Dino Rossi. After attending a Rossi campaign event highlighting the devastation Obamacare is wreaking on small businesses, I made my way down Route 5 to the Washington-Oregon border and Washington's 3rd Congressional District. Incumbent Democrat Brian Baird is retiring after his current term, creating a hotly contested open seat scenario. Republican nominee Jaime Herrera has opened up a polling advantage in the race, and kindly spared a few moments to chat with me about her campaign. Here's a photo of Jaime and me outside of her headquarters in Vancouver.
I'll have report on both races tomorrow, exclusively on Townhall.
