HelloFresh really didn’t need to go there. Of course, they could’ve run a simple Pride month promotion. Everyone is doing it, so it is what it is, but this message caused an uproar, and no doubt that’s what they were aiming for. As I said, a G-rated Pride promo would’ve been fine; instead, we got subjected to this message, which really shoved it in our faces.
Folks, we don’t need to know you have high-fiber options for the gays who are ‘prepping’ to have a bunch of sex. We know it’s happening, but I mean, we just didn’t need to read this (via Fox News):
Hello Fresh deserves to go bankrupt after this stunt. Absolutely revolting and obscene. And the Alphabet Mafia wonders why society is turning against them? Really???

I’m a lesbian and this disgusts me. I can’t imagine how the straights feel.
It’s just too much. pic.twitter.com/QYPdPzaBlY
Interesting choice by @HelloFresh. It wasn’t enough for them to merely celebrate Pride Month, they went the extra mile in associating their food with human assholes, enemas, and shit. Bold strategy.

This is not what I'm looking for from a food delivery service. So gross. pic.twitter.com/qR8GwfSfvU

HelloFresh is facing online backlash after a Pride Month social media post featuring a sexual joke drew criticism from users who accused the meal-kit company of promoting explicit content under the guise of corporate activism.
The company ignited debate after suggesting its high-fiber meals could help customers who were "prepping" for Pride Month festivities, prompting critics to accuse the brand of making inappropriate sexual references while supporters praised the post's humor.
In a Friday post on Instagram, the company wrote, "We know eating isn’t always a top priority this month. We respect that. But for those of you who are ... prepping ... we have an extensive lineup of high-fiber recipes available. Happy Pride."
Look, even some folks in this community were not pleased:
As a lesbian, I am so tired of this nonsense. I am tired of corporate Pride and activist Pride.

This week HelloFresh decided that the best way to celebrate Pride Month was to post jokes about preparing for anal sex and offering high-fibre recipes to help people "prep". They then… pic.twitter.com/wFr5QZqVgy
It happened. It’s passed, but dear Lord, folks. HelloFresh’s gay sex meal kit is open for business.
