Second Amendment activist Dana Loesch named who she believed was the biggest winner of Super Tuesday—and it wasn’t a Democratic presidential candidate.
House Majority Whip James Clyburn's endorsement of Biden is largely responsible for his comeback on Super Tuesday, she argued. After all, days prior pundits had been saying he was running a “dead man walking” campaign.

She said Biden owes him for the endorsement—and that if the former vice president pulls it off and takes the Democratic nomination from Sen. Bernie Sanders, the entire party has a debt to the South Carolina lawmaker.
“James Clyburn was Joe Biden’s firewall. This speaks to Clyburn's years of retail politics and making personal associations out of political connections. Biden can’t do enough in this life to pay off that chitl,” she said. “If Biden rips the nom away from an avowed socialist (and truthfully unapologetic communist), the whole party may owe a debt to @WhipClyburn. An award. Something."

Democratic strategist James Carville is very much in agreement and saluted Clyburn on MSNBC Tuesday night.
“That guy literally saved the Democratic Party,” he said of Clyburn.
