Hope Hicks to Return to White House

The New York Times reported Thursday morning that former White House Communications Director Hope Hicks is making a return to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Hicks’ return comes after a two-year hiatus.

Hicks' return to the White House follows her departure from her role as chief communications officer at Fox Corporation. Hicks will not be resuming her original role as Communications Director, which she departed in 2018 in the middle of the Robert Mueller investigation. Instead, Hicks will work with senior advisor and son-in-law of the president, Jared Kushner, as well as the White House political director Brian Jack as a counselor to the president. Kushner is excited to have Hicks back in the White House, according to NYT:

“There is no one more devoted to implementing President Trump’s agenda than Hope Hicks," Kushner said in a statement.

Hicks was labeled as one of President Trump’s most trusted advisors, after previously working for first daughter Ivanka Trump’s brand.
