Bronson has an excellent piece about the recent round-up of illegals that enrolled in a fake university. Immigration and Customs Enforcement nabbed some 250 people in this effort. It was a successful enforcement measure. It’s something that should be done more often. If you’re an illegal alien, you have to go. Sorry, that’s the law. That’s federal law. And we have a new sheriff in Donald J. Trump who will enforce those laws. Immigration enforcement authorities will find you and kick you the hell out. Period. No one has the right to come here. We can deny anyone entry. And crime and poverty aren’t reasons for asylum, the other aspect of our immigration policy that needs an overhaul.
Yet, the Democratic Party of today hates ICE, they hate law enforcement, and they love illegal aliens more than American citizens; they don’t even care that criminal aliens are killing Americans. It’s all part of the long game. A few dead Americans and shattered families are worth the millions of new voters they will get through amnesty and a pathway to citizenship. Of course, that end goal is hidden under a faux campaign of compassion and empathy for these people. Democrats, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), were especially horrified over this fake university measure. Do they know that Obama created it and executed a similar enforcement operation in New Jersey back in 2016? Progressives unleashed on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Wednesday over reports that the agency arrested90 foreign-born students who had enrolled in a fake university, but someone forgot to tell them that the sting operation predates their favorite target, President Trump.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.,and others reacted to news of the arrests by accusing ICE of entrapping students and implying that the tactic was new under the Trump administration. As it turns out, former President Obama's administration not only founded the fake university, it engaged in a similar operation in New Jersey in 2016.
"Earlier this year, Congress rushed to approve BILLIONS more $ for ICE + CBP," Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. "I saw members voting YES w/o even a summary of the bill. Nobody cared then how we’d pay for it. Now ICE is setting up fake universities to trap students. Yet were [sic] called radical for opposing it."
"This is cruel and appalling,"Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.,tweeted. Actress and activist Alyssa Milano similarly seemed shocked by the news.
In total, 250 students have been arrested in connection to the fake University of Farmington. When the university and associated arrests were reported on in January of 2019, federal prosecutors alleged the students had knowingly enrolled in the fake school in order to maintain their student visa status.
It’s the kids in cages all over again. It’s the tear gas being fired on hordes of migrants trying to bum rush the ports of entry. All of this stuff the Democrats have tried to blame Trump for was already done under Obama. In many ways, Trump is continuing a lot of Obama detention policies. But Obama also created DAPA and DACA, which are constitutionally questionable programs that shield illegals from deportation. Obama created the fake university.
It’s almost too good to be true and another reminder that in the media, when Democrats do it—it’s not evil. It’s not bad unless a Republican is the one in the Oval Office. Obama is the boogeyman again. Now that’s in the open, let’s just wait and see how fast it takes for the liberal media to suffocate this story with a pillow. Let’s see how quickly this story dies because liberals chose to bury their heads in the sand.
