War on Women: Do Anti-Gun Liberals Know Women LOVE AR-15 Rifles?

AR-15s are some of the most popular rifles in America. Demonized and misunderstood, the liberal media has made the firearm its favorite punching bag whenever there’s a mass shooting. if the shooter isn’t white or didn’t use this firearm during the crime, then it’ll suffer the Jeffrey Epstein treatment and get buried. If it doesn’t help the Democrats, it gets smothered. So, when its discovered that AR-15s are widely used by female gun owners due to its lightweight and low-recoil, then you know such stories aren’t going to see the light of day. Luckily, the Washington Free Beacon’s Stephen Gutowski, who is the site’s firearms reporter, has taken up that burden. Yes, liberal media, women love the AR-15 rifle (via Free Beacon):

Speaking with the Washington Free Beacon on Friday, five female firearm owners and advocates said the AR-15 platform offers several features that are ideal for women specifically. Robyn M. Sandoval, executive director of A Girl & A Gun Women's Shooting League, said the rifle is both more effective and safer for female shooters.

"ARs are an excellent choice for women for home defense," Sandoval told the Free Beacon. "The platform is relatively lightweight and easy to hold and customize so that the firearm fits her body correctly. Having a rifle that is the right size for the shooter makes it more comfortable to shoot and therefore more accurate and safer."

Many Democratic politicians, including 2020 frontrunner Joe Biden, have long decried the AR-15 as both dangerous and an impractical or unnecessary firearm for civilians, especially women. But the female firearm owners the Free Beacon spoke to rejected the logic of these pro-gun-control men.

 […]

Dana Loesch, a nationally syndicated radio host and gun-rights activist who has faced threats to her safety throughout her career, said she picks an AR-15 when it comes to home defense.

"I was always taught in training that your pistol is what you use to get to your rifle, and the AR-15 is what I choose to use," Loesch told the Free Beacon.

The customizability of the rifle is a big selling point for women, competitive shooter and trainer Julie Golob said.

"I can choose my trigger, hand guard, barrel length, grip," Dianna Muller, a former police officer and head of the gun-rights group DC Project, added. "I can put a light, laser, etc. I call it the Mr. Potato Head for the gun connoisseur!"

The testimony of these women contradicts Biden, who has repeatedly claimed that AR-15s are hard to use and ineffective compared with shotguns. In 2013, he said he had advised his own wife to use a double-barrel shotgun instead of an AR-15.

Yet, we might have some bad news coming down the pipeline. We’re in a bit trouble, folks. The Supreme Court refused to block a lawsuit filed by the Newtown victims against Remington. We don’t know why. All that we do know is that this lawsuit, which could send a ripple effect through the gun manufacturing world, is proceeding. You would think that the 2005 Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arm Act, one of the best pro-gun rights bills passed in recent memory, would nix this bill. Simply put, the PLCAA shields gunmakers from lawsuits if their firearms are used unwillingly and unknowingly during crimes. It’s to ensure that this industry isn’t sued into extinction, thereby protecting the Second Amendment’s flanks from the anti-gun Left. Now, that’s in doubt (via NPR):

The Supreme Court has denied Remington Arms Co.'s bid to block a lawsuit filed by families of victims of the Sandy Hook school massacre. The families say Remington should be held liable, as the maker of the AR-15-style rifle used in the 2012 killings.

The court opted not to hear the gun-maker's appeal, in a decision that was announced Tuesday morning. The justices did not include any comment about the case, Remington Arms Co. v. Soto, as they turned it away.

Remington had appealed to the highest federal court after the Connecticut Supreme Court allowed the Sandy Hook lawsuit to proceed in March. The company says the case "presents a nationally important question" about U.S. gun laws — namely, how to interpret the 2005 Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, which grants broad immunity to gun-makers and dealers from prosecution over crimes committed with their products.

Remington manufactured the Bushmaster AR-15-style rifle that Adam Lanza used on Dec. 14, 2012, to kill 20 first-graders and six adults at the elementary school in Newtown, Conn.

The tragedy galvanized the Left to launch another (failed) run at chipping away at constitutional rights, though it did squander the most critical moments of the Obama administration’s second term. There was no way a new assault weapons ban (a loaded lefty term) was going to pass, conservative and Western Democrats already voiced their opposition to it, along with Republicans. Adam Lanza was mentally ill, he murdered his mother, stole her guns, and committed this heinous act. The Court should’ve blocked this frivolous lawsuit.
