Despite a massive wave of celebrity boycotts, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signed a historic pro-life bill on Tuesday that would ban abortions at the point a fetal heartbeat is detected, typically at the 6-week mark. Upset with the legislation, actress Alyssa Milano urged her fellow actors to "stop feeding the Georgia economy." The Writers Guild of America even warned Kemp that if he signed the pro-life legislation, it could do major damage to the state's film industry.

Still, Kemp proceeded, and pro-life groups are thankful.
