Smell A Pulitzer? Newsweek Informs Us That Foot Fetishists Debunked Alleged Nude Photos Of Ocasio-Cortez

Love her or hate her, we have to deal with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) for the foreseeable future. She will probably be a congresswoman from her district for many, many years unless an even further left-wig loony toon thinks she’s too squishy to keep around. We’re in Cortez season. She’s getting an awful lot of oxygen from the media. She’s not afraid to voice her opinion, and dish it out to her haters. I get it. She’s a woman, a congresswoman, and a liberal. She’s Captain Marvel, except that she’s not. Her ideas are also getting attention—and they’re abysmal socialist trash. We need to stick to that and not how she dances or dresses. It’s stupid, makes her a sympathetic character, and we don’t want that. We also fall into the same trap the Left fell win to with Trump: attack everything and anything Ocasio-Cortez. Yet, today, we will sort-of defend her because Newsweek has been on a tear lately. They seem to think that only conservatives are angry aboutanti-Semitism when NBA superstar LeBron James quoted lyrics from a hip-hop artist that were…problematic to those of the Jewish faith. Now, they needed to inform us that those alleged nude photos of Ocasio-Cortez are not real, foot fetishists told them so:

An image of legs in a bathtub, with text reading "alexandria ocasio-cortez.instagram.post.9-3-2016," was posted to Reddit over the weekend. The image and text previously appeared on Twitter, 4chan, and online forums used for revenge porn, according to Vice. The photographer's breasts are also reflected in the faucet of the bathtub when the image is zoomed, according to Vice.

But foot fetishists from the site WikiFeet, which catalogues photos showing female celebrities' feet, said the feet pictured on Reddit were not Ocasio-Cortez's.

"I'm a contributor to wikifeet and even I have never seen a second toe like that!" Reddit user jokes_on_you commented on the image. The comment also included a link to an image showing the Congresswoman wearing sandals.

When asked about being able to discern the difference in feet, the user told Vice "Because we can’t dorsi- or plantarflex our 2nd-5th toes independently I knew it wasn’t a matter of the toe being bent. I thought that maybe she has some form of brachydactyly but her Wikifeet page has clear evidence to the contrary. So it was clear to me that it wasn’t her feet."

The photo in fact shows Sydney Leathers, who exchanged sexual text messages with former New York representative Anthony Weiner.

Our friends at Twitchy found some interesting (non-dirty) tweets commenting on this solid journalistic endeavor. And we’ve yet to reach peak Ocasio-Cortez. Wikifeet? Are we smoking crack over there at Newsweek?
