RBG to Miss All Oral Arguments Today

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will miss oral arguments for the first time Monday as she continues to recover from her surgery in which she had cancerous nodules removed from her lung.

This will be the first time Ginsburg, 85, will miss an oral argument session since she joined the Court in 1993. She will continue to work from home and will take part in cases using transcripts, according to the court.

Ginsburg suffered a nasty fall in November at court and broke three ribs. When she was taken to the hospital, doctors discovered the cancerous nodules. She then underwent a pulmonary lobectomy to have the malignant nodules removed. Post-surgery, there was no evidence of any remaining disease.
