Tick Tock: The FBI Investigation Into Kavanaugh Sexual Misconduct Allegations Is Drawing To A Close

Spineless Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) decided to side with Democrats on the issue of another FBI investigation into the various sexual misconduct allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh, Trump’s Supreme Court nominee. It’s engulfed the process in chaos. All three allegations hurled against Kavanaugh are without evidence or witnesses. There is no corroborating evidence. It’s a clown show. It’s also a brutal character assassination campaign executed by the Left. Flake decided it was fine to leave Kavanaugh and his family open for more abuse by progressives because this will somehow unify the country. It won’t. Democrats are toying with Flake and if his idea of uniting the country is screwing your own party while accommodating despicable Democrats, then he can get the hell out. Luckily he is, but not fast enough.

With Sens. Flake (R-AZ), Collins (R-ME), and Murkowski (R-AK) all agreeing to this motion, the Trump White House was forced to launch a seventh FBI investigation into the judge. Flake did vote to advance the nomination to the Senate floor, where a weeklong delay was place to allow the bureau to do its work—work which we already know about. Everyone has given statements to these baseless accusations. It will be a compilation of what we’ve heard in a final report. There will be nothing conclusive. This is all part of the Democrats’ plan to run out the clock before the midterms, retake Congress, and block Kavanaugh for good.

The Wall Street Journal reports that the investigation is likely in its final stages. It will not be released publicly, but we all know everyone who gets their hands on it is going to leak key portions:

People familiar with the process said Tuesday that the FBI investigation into the allegations of sexual misconduct against Judge Kavanaugh could wrap up very soon, well ahead of the end-of week deadline.

GOP aides on the Hill and another person familiar with the process said they were expecting the bureau to conclude its report as soon as late Tuesday or early Wednesday. Agents had interviewed at least four key people as of Tuesday in its background investigation of Judge Kavanaugh. The White House had given the bureau until Friday to wrap up the probe.

Senators would then be shown the FBI's findings, but it wasn't clear if the public would get a look as well.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) said on Tuesday the report was expected "soon" and "will be made available to each senator and only senators will be allowed to look at it."

[…]

The top Democrat on the committee, Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, said "it depends" and she thinks a report it "should be limited" to the committee. She said in her past experience that is what has been done, but she was not clear on the format the FBI would release the results of its investigation.

This will not convince Democrats to change their votes or their strategy, which is why it’s so maddening that Sen. Flake, did this. Virtually every Democrat said they would oppose Kavanaugh. They will say it’s not thorough enough or find wholly irrelevant areas of inquiry. Folks, we’re getting on this man for drinking beer in college and throwing ice on people; Kavanaugh was reportedly part of a bar fight in 1985. It doesn’t get any more absurd that this. And the third allegation, that Kavanaugh was part of a gang rape ring, is falling apart—fast. What would you expect when creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenatti is involved. The BS meter should go through the roof.
