Walmart is facing backlash for selling “Impeach 45” apparel on its website, leading to a #BoycottWalmart trend on social media.
The apparel advocating for the impeachment of President Trump was slammed by Ryan Fournier, chairman of Students for Trump, who tweeted at the company, “What kind of message are you trying to send?”
Fournier’s message soon went viral, leading to angry consumers threatening to boycott the company.
.@walmart why are you selling Impeach 45 baby clothes on your website?????

#BoycottWalmart @Walmart thinks it is acceptable to sell Impeach 45 merchandise. Total disrespect for our @POTUS @realDonaldTrump & for our country.

This Trump supporter will shop for groceries elsewhere now. Sam Walton would never have allowed this. #BoycottWalmart pic.twitter.com/OKgEazOLcD

@Walmart #BoycottWalmart starts now. As long as you keep selling Impeach Trump gear my family will no longer shop at your stores. A corp such as yours should not take a political stance one way or the other. Bad business decision on your part You just alienated a huge demographic
