General Michael Flynn Subpoenaed By House Intelligence Committee

Things are getting worse by the day for former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.

After refusing to comply with a subpoena from the Senate Intelligence Committee last week and pleading the Fifth Amendment Monday, Flynn's business was slapped with two more subpoenas demanding documents be turned over. He has also been threatened with contempt.

Now, he's being issued another round. This time from the House Intelligence Committee. From POLITICO

Rep. Adam Schiff of California, whose panel is investigating Russia’s meddling in the presidential election, said he hoped the committee’s subpoenas to President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser would go out this week.

“We initially requested his voluntary participation,” Schiff said at a breakfast with reporters. “He declined. We are going to be subpoenaing him.”

In March, Flynn requested immunity through an attorney in exchange for testimony. That request was denied.
