Russia denied reports that President Trump shared classified information with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during his visit to the White House last week.
On Tuesday, Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman for the Russian foreign ministry, described the Washington Post report on Facebook as "yet another fake."
According to the report, Trump shared intelligence given by a U.S. ally on a planned operation against the Islamic State.
In a separate post on Facebook, Zakhorova described landing in Madrid and when she turned on her phone she had “dozens of messages” asking about the story.
"Guys, have you been reading American newspapers again? Don't read them," wrote Zakharova.
