Chris Christie: Yeah, I Was Disappointed Trump Didn't Pick Me

Cleveland, OH - New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is slated to speak tonight at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland and admitted to CNN this morning he is disappointed he wasn't chosen as Donald Trump's vice presidential running mate. Despite the let down, Christie is "over it" and looking forward to continuing his work with the campaign.

"When it was clear that Donald wanted me to compete for this job and to be considered, I wanted to win, of course you do. But it's not like my lifetime dream is to be vice president of the United States. So I'm disappointed, no doubt I was disappointed, but I'm over it," Christie said.

Before being considered for vice president, Christie ran for the White House in the GOP primary.
