President Obama will give a prime-time address Tuesday, September 10 with a goal of selling military intervention in Syria to the American people. His address will come just one day before the 12th anniversary of the 9/11/2001 terror attacks and the one year anniversary of the 9/11 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
President Barack Obama says he will address the nation about Syria on Tuesday as he seeks public and congressional authority for military action against the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
Obama spoke at a news conference at the conclusion of a Group of 20 summit in Russia where Syria dominated much of the discussion.
