Nikki Haley Explores the Firepower of American Manufacturing

South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley has built her tenure in the Palmetto State by embracing manufacturing and fighting federal bureaucracy that prevents industries from expanding. Two years ago, Haley went to war with the National Labor Relations Board after Boeing was told they were unable to relocated their plants in Right to Work South Carolina. She won that war and now Boeing is providing dozens of high paying jobs to local communities and bringing in tax revenue for the state government as a result.

Most recently, Haley decided to explore and spotlight a different manufacturing industry in her state.

FN Manufacturing is located in Columbia and makes firearms products for the United States military, 90 different countries and for civilians.  The company has a long history of providing the military with the tools it needs and has received positive reviews from employees as a "productive and fun" place to work with good pay and hours. The company does everything from research and development to testing and producing products, all in the heart of Dixie.

Manufacturing jobs are still available in America and with the right small government policies, they'll continue to thrive.
