House Republicans to Vote on Delaying of Obamacare Individual Mandate

The House of Representatives is getting ready for a vote Wednesday that would delay the Obamacare individual mandate until 2015. The vote comes two weeks after the Obama administration announced it would be delaying the employer mandate until the same year. Not surprisingly, Obama plans to veto the legislation which means only big business will receive a break from his unpopular and expensive healthcare overhaul.

The legislation is going nowhere in the Democratic-controlled Senate and the administration said emphatically Tuesday the president would veto the measures.
If the individual mandate is not delayed, those without health insurance will start getting slapped with fines in January 2014.

As a reminder, it isn't only Republicans pointing out the disaster Obamacare implementation has become.  Democrats, including Obamacare author Max Baucus, have openly called it a "train wreck."
